I love that there is no 'static' associated with plastic brushes
I've been buying these brushes for 15 years- they last so long so you don't need to rebuy often. I love that there is no 'static' associated with plastic brushes.

Great hairbrush, falls apart after 3+ years
Fantastic hairbrush for thick hair. Knocked off a star as itโs lasted 3.5 years after daily use yet the prongs are starting to fall out.

Pad comes apart
Feels really nice to use and much gentler on my hair but sometimes the pad comes apart from the handle section.

... wooden brush I have owned and I can say easily I'll be using this from now on
This is my first all wooden brush I have owned and I can say easily I'll be using this from now on. I have very thick hair and this is able to brush through it with ease while also being comfortable for me- no pulling on my hair or scratching on my scalp. Its also vert lightweight and I love the design.

best brush ever, particularly for long, or thick hair!
This is my first wooden pin hair brush. I've only had it for a few days, but I already would never go back to anything else! There is no static and this brush has nice, deep bristles that actually brush all your hair. I have frizzy hair that takes a lot of very particular products to keep it from getting frizzy. I don't have thick hair, but I have very long hair and a lot of it. I find I have less tangles because the bristles retain their shape (nylon, plastic or boar ones tend to get misshapen due to the heat of the hairdryer). I think because it is wood, it is harder for the bristles to get misshapen. There is a sensory experience you get with the wooden bristles that you don't get with plastic. I really like it and find it stimulates my scalp. If you have a sensitive scalp, it might not be for you. This brush didn't have the rounded ends on the bristle "pins" that plastic needs because plastic would scratch your scalp. I thought this was a great value because the other wooden handle + wooden bristle brushes out there are usually $40-$80+. I first saw the wooden bristle pins in Europe, where all the pricey brands are less costly than they are in the states. I still didn't buy them because it seemed expensive (although I have Mason Pearson's) for something I hadn't really heard much about. This one has been great for me!

Durable and High Quality Wooden Brush.
Best wooden brush - hands down. Wooden brushes distribute natural oils, prevent static, and are soothing on the scalp. That's why I use them. All the ones I have bought in the past are inferior to this one. You can tell the material is high quality. Have been using this brush for almost a year and none of the bristles have fallen out. I have long hair and this brush can handle it in all conditions.

Good sturdy hairbrush
I got this because my old plastic hairbrush broke like 6 months ago and in between now and then I was just using a wide toothed plastic comb. As a wide tooth comb is good for when your hair is wet, it just isn't the same when you try to put your hair up or style it certain ways. I was always getting ugly lumps because it wasn't combing my hair down smoothly. I was reading about this brush and how it says it helps your natural oils go down the length of your hair and the bristles stimulate your scalp. I definitely agree that it does this. I have only had this brush for a few weeks but it feels great on my scalp when I brush it. If you put your head upside down and brush your hair from the nape of your neck to the crown of your head along your scalp, and then brush it normally standing up, you will get a little mini-scalp massage and it feels amazing. I believe that also stimulates hair growth as your hair follicles are stimulated by blood flow. This is also a very sturdy brush. I like that it is wooden. I think this will last me a long time and the bristles won't pop off like other plastic hair brushes. I think this is worth the money if you want something that is going to help your hair and last longer than normal hair brushes. It is also not too bulky so you can throw it in your purse and it won't take up too much room.

and I'm glad I did
Time will tell how this helps my hair, but it is a quality brush! I decided to pay a bit more for this one as opposed to a wooden brush from china, and I'm glad I did. It has a lovely colour, a nice weight, simple branding on the brush, and came well packaged with a very nicely designed label and plastic wrap. It has no nubs on the ends of the bristles, which makes it glide very smooth through the hair and I noticed today after showering it was very gentle on my wet hair which is great. Looking at it, the bristles have obvious different grains, so they are real wood. Super excited! It's kind of small, but it's really nice!
