Will this plaster help draw out an infection on an ingrown hair

My doctor gave me one for my abscess, she said it does ‘draw out foreign bodies’.

Does this contain nickel?

I don't think so, nothing in the packaging but it's basically this silicone or similar thing that clings to the burn wound and heals it while staying moist inside but waterproof on the outside. There is a better one from Boots though, this was a cheaper version and I felt it was slightly worse than the Boots one.
