Back in the day I had the Discwasher D4 system complete with the walnut case and Zerostat anti static ‘gun’.I gave it away with my old audio system when I moved and shifted to CD. I recently bought a new table and needed to find a replacement for the Discwssher which is no longer in production. This is the best I’ve seen so far. Now I just need to get a Zerostat.

Had a record or two that skipped. Bought this kit to clean them and now they sound great with no skips.

This Boundless audio record cleaning kit includes everything you need to do a detailed job cleaning records. It does in fact include the LABEL PROTECTOR, which I did not see in the description, or in any of the product photos. I did see the label protector in some reviews, which left me a bit confused, but the kit did include one. The cleaning solution does an excellent job removing the dirt from the grooves, and dries quickly. I use the velvet brush first (which by the way is a nice length fitting the size of the record whilst also being comfortable in your hand) to distribute the solution on the record and into the grooves, then I use one of the microfiber cloths to wipe away the damp and dirt. The other cloth I use as a barrier between the record and the table, it makes a nice mat, and does not scratch the record. The microfiber brush does shed a bit, but so does most other record brushes. Just make sure to carefully pick away and lose bristles before using. The brush does a good job removing surface dust, and a bit of static from off the record. The stylus brush also does a good job removing dust accumulation from the needle. Overall an excellent kit, I would recommend this to anyone who has nothing to clean records with, because this kit has everything.

This was purchased as a gift for our son who has been purchasing second hand records. Many of these records are dirty and they tend to pop and crackle. None of us had any experience with cleaning records before but this set has been easy to use, is high quality and quite effective. The pops and crackles have been reduced and in some cases eliminated. The most surprising part to us was the issue of the container. When we looked at the listing we noticed this was mentioned but we thought it was silly to consider the container. Now that we have it we realize that it is indeed important! This looks very nice near our record player and we are very happy we chose this set! I'm not sure how we would have stored loose pieces and I don't have time to worry about it. This is the way to go!
