Tamiya Russian T-62A Tank 1:35 Military Plastic Model Assembly Kit

As with all Tamiya kits, they are the upper side of quality and engineering. Better than a Revell or Airfix, but not as detailed as a Dragon or a Trumpeter. What I like about Tamiya is that they are usually quite simply engineered in terms of parts, and the fit of the said parts is usually if always spot on. No needs for excessive filler or reshaping. This tank is no exception. No major problems were found with construction an the whole thing went together well. Some decal setting fluid will be needed as the decals can silver, and I would recommend aftermarket tracks as the ones that are supplied are a little stiff and ridged. ON the whole, a great buy.

This model was described as “The best present ever!” I got it for my son’s 12th birthday and ever since he has added extra details like debris and rust. For the few days around his birthday i barely saw him once as he was wrapped in the excitement of a Russian T-62A glueing and painting all the high quality delicate parts.

went together very well,producing a very nice tank,though i did have to buy a metal gun barrel as the one that comes with the kit was slightly bent.

As allways deliver really good, arrived as promised. Cost is reasonable to. I've build this model in the past and goes together with no problems.

Had all the best features of a Tamiya kit (easy to put together, great quality) and lots of room to upgrade it if you wanted to. I enjoyed every bit of making this kit. Here's a few pictures (attached) of my efforts for you to, hopefully, enjoy. I spent about 12 hours making and painting this tank. I enjoyed putting the texture on the cast parts - I used Mr Dissolved putty for this. I enjoyed this tank so much I'm going to make another one.

Good cheap and just what I needed

Blood pressure issues! This is straightforward BUT the machine gun on the turret is VERY VERY POORLY designed Unbelievably fiddly with no obvious ways of assembling based on vague instructions such as look at picture. If the parts don’t fit perfectly the next part won’t fit into the gap made in the turret. Same applies to search light really.

Arrived on time and in perfect condition ,the model was described perfectly to it scale with easy to follow instructions

パーツ点数も少なくあっという間に組めます、モーターライズのなごり穴が底にあるので気になる方は埋めてください成型バリや歪みも無くストレスなく作業が進みます流石タミヤクオリティ、砲塔前面下部の凹みデザインやスコップ、リアフェンダーの泥除け等々気になる方は手を入れると良いでしょう、私は砲塔前面下部はパテ埋めしリアフェンダーはゴムっぽく捲れた感じにしましたスコップの部分には適当な物でも置けばよいんじゃないでしょうか（あくまで適当）塗装はクレオスのロシアングリーンのモジュレーションを利用しました、シャドーベースハイライト二種の四段モジュレーションで簡単にソビエト戦車が塗装出来ます、各社から出ている最新のT62シリーズからはタミヤ製T-62は見劣りするのでしょうが出来上がると低く精悍な車体がよく表現されているなと感心しますし手頃な価格で買えるうちに一両確保しておいても良いのではないでしょうか！

Quality is quite good. But I don’t think the shape of the turret is accurate. It is supposed to be wider and more oblate.

Like others have said; this tank is probably more complicated than the real thing when it comes to putting it together. Having said that this is a good model I noticed for a beginner in the Russian tank field. They are a little different than most NATO (must easier to assemble IE round turret) but also a fun model and very accurate representation of this little known tank.
