Covers a significant portion of the forehead, So you have to place your mask first and then the hood. It seemed to collect some air pockets at the back, but that didn’t bother me. Definitely helps keep your hair back! I lost my hair and during a dive and didn’t notice until I was back on the surface.

My last diving trip I noticed two fun gals who wore fun hoods, naturally I had to get one!! I love my fishy hood! It is so comfortable and fits me perfectly!! I bought this to help keep my long hair from tangling in my mask straps on the sides. It is difficult to pull a mask on and off while in the water to defog bc of the ears.
