Amazing
One of the best books on pagan holidays ive ever read. Very informative without being boring, doesnt just cover the 8 main holidays either, but every single holiday/major day of the year. Highly recommend!

Get back to our roots!
I don't know why people believe what they believe. Except for modern Americans. They believe what the One World Order has been programming them to think for many generations now! (That used to be me! I woke up, so can you!)But I love learning what ancient people believed and practiced. How did they live their lives? This book has a lot of incredible insight.I hope every home will get this book and somewhere in there, find your roots.

Not Wiccan
A book of the sacred days and traditions that does not have the Wiccan slant.

So far it's just “OK”/not terrible, but not great.
Unless I'm missing something it seems everything here is written in a way where we "just need to trust the author," and there's not much in the way of citations. For the price that's ok, but I won't be using this as anything reliable on it's own. I might draw something from interest here, and set off for more reputable sources to make sure it's not just some made up stuff.I'd much higher hopes for this, and wouldn't replace it if lost. Very skeptical of investing any more money/time on this author's other works.

Informative
Love this little book! It has many entries of days to celebrate organized by day and month. Covers different traditions throughout. Very handy.

Useful
It's a good book for getting a bit of info for all the days that have Pagan things linked to them.

no more Christmas or easter for me
Who would have thought that Christmas was a pagan feast day? This book is profound in info on what pagans celebrate. Christmas is in this Book, easter is in here. I guess we are to stick with the feast days that are in lev 23 kjv and put down pagan holidays. This book tells you history of the pagan holidays along with picture of what these idols look like. Do you know what a pagan is? Amazing revelations in this literature. If you are following God according to the bible you would get this book and educate your self.

yet easy to read
Not a big complicated tome as I've seen with other Pagan books. It's informative, yet easy to read. There are several charts, calendars, and reference pages with are interesting and helpful. Each day of the year has a small description of it's significance and origin. It's written very broadly with information that pertains to many if not all Pagan paths. A great starting point for those new to Paganism and seeking a starting point.

Not what I expected
I was looking for a book that listed the main days and the history of those days and the ways that they are celebrated. This book covered all of the pagan days, but with minimum detail. I was hoping to understand a little more about paganism, it's origins, and specific important days and how to celebrate them. Perhaps with my minimal knowledge of pagan this book has just confused me and I needed more of a beginners guide.

Good
I found this introduction to Paganism very useful and the explanation of the festivals and traditions interesting and enlightening. The book of days part is less interesting for me as it goes into ancient stuff which I cannot relate to.
