Will it fit over long hair if tied up?

This item was complete rubbish. Whatever hair you have will appear as when stretched this item is practically see through. :)

Is there anyway to get rid of that horrendous fishy like smell

The “fishy” smell is due to it being made from latex, it’s completely normal with sfx products

Can you use face paint on it?

Hello, I tried to but it didn’t really work. It was a great product for its price though.

do you need glue to attach

Its pretty tight so will stay on without (like a swim cap) but for a more secure fit I used it with glue
