Stick Control: For the Snare Drummer

beginner drummer, and this little book is inspirational. at the moment I'm simply playing the first three pages at 110bpm alternating between hands and feet and after only a couple of days practice I can feel and hear an improvement in my playing. will wait a while before I get further into the book though!

Excellent book to have for brushing up on the rudiments and improving on your speed. Plain and simply to follow, use with a metronome.

drummer's bible. you absolutely must buy this book for your rudiments, any drummer will tell you about this book. intense work outs and different sticking pattterns through out the book. Can be used for your feet for double pedal work outs too and to train your limbs muscle memory.

The publication itself is great, but this particular edition is smaller than the one I have and so the exercises are a strain to read. Just as well I bought it as a gift for a young student with decent eyesight and not for myself

Regardless how old this book was first published, it remains absolutely relevant. Going through these exercises will change your playing in so many ways. Hint. Be sure to find out online how the author wanted it to be played. Very important.

This is easy book with lots of super exercises.From easy to harder. with this book you need no explanation. Love the book, my kids can understand it aged 9,11. Recommended for a non experienced drummer or an experienced drummer.

Although this is a very small and simple booklet, it is invaluable to any keen drummer. As useful today as it was when it was first written. No Drummer should be without this.

Good book for learning how to use a snare drum and for drumming patterns especially if you are a beginner.
