Question 1

It states that your products are third party tested in laboratories. Are these items tested on animals?”

Accepted Answer

Hello Lady Dee, my name is Alpa and I am the co-founder here at True Veda. Thank you for reaching out with your question. As you encountered, every batch of our products go through testing through independent laboratories. The tests that we do are for things like micro bacterial contaminants, heavy metals and pesticide contaminants. Let me reassure you all of these tests are not done using any type of animals. All of the tests use something called High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). HPLC is a form of chemical analysis and used to separate, identify, and quantify each component in a mixture. It relies on pumps to pass a pressurized liquid solvent containing the sample mixture through a column filled with a solid adsorbent material. Each component in the sample interacts slightly differently with the adsorbent material, causing different flow rates for the different components and leading to the separation of the components as they flow out the column. Apologies for getting technical but I just wanted to give you a little background so you can try to understand how the testing works. Let me know if you have anything else I can help you with. All my best, Alpa, True Veda Co-founder

Question 2

Question 3

I cannot find details of the awards that are advertised by True Veda as being awarded and want to verify before buying

Accepted Answer

Hi Bertie,
Thanks a lot for this question, it's a great one. As per Amazon listing policies, we are unable to add external links to our product page so that we direct you to the awards. However, for verifying, you can google the award and when you get to their official page, search by our brand name or reach out to the organizers so that they confirm True Veda winning.
I hope this will help.
All my best!

Question 4

Glass or plastic container?

Accepted Answer

Hi! Thank you for reaching out with your question. My name is Mary and I will gladly assist you here at True Veda. All our supplement containers are made from glass.

There are numerous reasons we chose glass including:
a) glass has an almost zero rate of chemical interactions, ensuring that the products inside a glass bottle keep their strength, aroma, and flavor,
b) glass is nonporous and impermeable, so there are no interactions between glass packaging and the capsules,
c) from the sustainability point of view, glass is 100% recyclable and can be recycled endlessly without loss in quality or purity
d) glass is great for storing light sensitive supplement capsules.

I hope that helps…let me know if you have any further questions. All my best, Mary
