These were a life saver on my flight. Zero popping there and back. I wish I’d known about these sooner. I’ve always had ear issues and have always dreaded flights. Inevitably, my ears would bother me the whole time I was at my destination just to start to feel better when it was time to fly home. The EarPlanes completely solved this issue and made my trip even better. They fit snug in the ear canal and didn’t bother my ear at all. They did quiet things but I could still hear well enough.

Awesome product, really helped to prevent ear pain during take-off / landing for my 12 year old kid during the recent flight

My daughter had zero complaints of ear pain while wearing this on our 5 hour flight to and from Hawaii. They do at times start to wiggle out but that’s the same with ear plugs.

If you are a frequent sinus headache sufferer, and have EVER been on an airplane and felt "icepicks" in your ears as the plane descended - SUFFER NO MORE! You need a pair of these. There are adult sizes, and kid sizes. As a female, the child size just fit my ears better. The idea is to put them in while the plane is on the ground. Then when you reach cruising altitude, you can take them out. And about the time they tell you to put your seats vertical and your tray tables up in a locked position, put them back in again, and you will never again suffer the Icepick Effect on landing. You can leave them in the whole flight (and if it is under 3 hours I usually do) but for long flights it is more comfortable to remove them for the better part of the flight and just put them back in when the plane starts its descent. I used to only use them when I felt congested.... then one day.... the dreaded icepick pain.... and my ears were stuffed up for 3 days after that flight.... sounded like everything was coming through a fishbowl! I hadn't THOUGHT I was congested but my ears begged to differ! NEVER AGAIN. I wear these EVERY time I fly. I put them in the case of my noise-cancelling headphones (that I also never fly without). Since the headphones are over-the-ear, you can still use them to listen to stuff with the earplanes in. They DO cut down on noise, they have lasted me literally for years, and are high quality flexible silicone material. You can wash them with a little soap and water if you get earwax on them (and you will!). I find the child-size more comfortable for my ears! But I think Amazon sells a 2-pack with adult and kid sizes, so get both and see what works for you. I don't know if anyone uses them for babies but lots of times when the plane starts to descend and you hear babies start to cry, it's because they have stuffy heads and they are getting the Icepick Effect! I don't know if the child size would fit an infant but I would try it if I had an infant with a stuffy nose on a plane!

The product actually helps. I fly quite a bit and my ears and head has been thanking me since I started using these. My only qualm is that these aren’t reusable. The app is great and easy to use.
