Used it routinely with the EOS5 series including the 5DsR for all of which the foot of the cube is too small. The thickness of the foot is not sufficient to fit a hot shoe tightly unless the shoe has internal springs at its edges. Its just a fact of life that different camera models have different depths so the shoe has to be made to fit the smallest. A folded slip of thick paper or thin card under the foot can make the fit as tight as you wish, and may be essential to push the top faces of the foot against the underside of the folded edges of the hot shoe to align spirit level accurately The acrylic foot is brittle: if you drop the cube the edges of foot will readily snap on hitting hard ground first so if you use it a lot take a spare.

I gave this little cube it's first test the other day, it is brilliant, when my camera gear is mounted on my light tripod I cannot see the level, the cube is just perfect now I shall have to get one for my other camera's.

It's a simple item, but it works well. Maybe the slide is a little too thick and it's not so easy to insert it inside the slide of the camera

One arrived with broken hot shoe fitment - useless and unusable

These were bought for a friend that tended to take photos that always came out at a slight angle, it was amazing the way he was able to make water (and even sea!) run up hill, But this little gadget that fits onto the hot shoe of any camera has solved that issue. However it does nothing to help them with the focusing! But seriously this is a real handy bit of kit to pop onto the top of your camera, and can be used if the camera is in landscape or portrait.

Firstly, the foot doesn’t fit a single shoe - I’ve tried at least 5, camera, cage, brackets etc, it is too small for any of them is slips right out. I’m not talking about being a little lose, I’m saying if you tilted whatever this is attached to even slightly backwards it would slip right out. It’s so lose that there is room to spare, meaning it rocks when it’s in place - therefore not able to be accurate. What is more, it’s not accurate anyway! On a flat, level surface, it shows an uneven level, so this thing has levels inside it that are wonky. You’d have thought that was something they’d check, right? The irony. Lastly, this thing is SHARP. Handle with gloves sharp. Every edge and corner is a razor. If it was level and fit the shoe the. I’d sand the edges down, but it’s too late, they’re both in the bin. Total waste of money

I have them in all my bags, helpful, just rember to put them safely away, after use, find them in jacket pockets. I also use on my LF Camera.

Rien de spécial à signaler. Vraiment pratique sur un pied. Je m'en sert aussi dans mon setup bricolé pour faire du "DSLR Scanning" de mes photos argentiques. J'aligne un appareil APS-C avec un 50mm macro fermé à f/8, bien d'équerre avec une table à lumière et quelque bidules imprimés en 3D pour tenir mon film.

Aunque no he tenido tiempo de hacer pruebas muy exhaustivas, parece que tiene buena precisión. Útil sobre todo en las fotos a mano alzada, mirando el visor y el nivel al mismo tiempo, tanto horizontal como vertical. Con trípode tienes más opciones de tomar tu tiempo para colocar la cámara sin peso en los brazos. Muy transparente permite ver perfectamente los tres ejes. Creo que es buen producto. Buen vendedor.
