It lasted 8 years in all weathers.
I bought this back in 2017 its now 2025, I am now looking to renew it as its past it best , its been used out doors as a night time enclosure for 3 very mucky ducks, out in all weathers. To some 8 years may not seem as thought its lasted very long but given I've never painted it or sheltered it I think its done very well. I will be buying a new one the same. I hope this review is helpful 👍

Small but well formed coop
Small but well thought out coop.Purchased as a safe place for a broody full sized hen, with any luck the bantam family she hatches! The recommended size suitability for 3 full size hens should be taken with a pinch of salt. The coop is really small, and would need a significant extention and free range access to be livable. It was really easy to put together. The printing of the instructions was a very small and fuzzy, and could be followed but many steps seemed to be rolled together which should have been separate. Largely OK, thought had one issue though, noted by another customer review - the runners for the waste tray were labeled as the same part but one is thicker than the other and should go on the left or it won't fit.Like most other coops, it will have to be treated by the purchaser to ensure long life. All in all, really pleased. Arrived quickly, was well packaged and complete.

Lovely looking coop
The coop seems to be well made but the wood might be a little thin for the winter months. I am just not sure yet. However, the pullets have settled in well and are happy and comfortable. The design is excellent so cleaning and access is great. Some coops can be a nightmare to clean but this is well thought out.In terms of building, the instructions are terrible so it is easier to build the coop without the instructions as some of the steps are missed out And there are poor diagrams for you to follow. Still, common sense goes a long way and the coop is not too difficult to build. I am not particularly knowledgeable about building things but managed to build the coop very quickly. The look of the coop is attractive and it does seem sturdy at the moment. I look forward to seeing how things go when the winter comes.

Great value for a rabbit hutch
I wanted to use this for a while before reviewing it. I bought it to use as a rabbit hutch. I have one large Californian white rabbit. It’s the perfect side for her. I think 2 small rabbits would be ok but no more than that. The removable cleanable tray is amazing. Perfect for getting everything clean! I disinfect it once a month when doing a big clean out. The rabbit seems to live on the top shelf in the enclosed area, and use the tray as it’s toilet! There is no ladder for the rabbits to get on the shelf, mine is big enough to jump, but if you had smaller pets you may need to make/install one. I removed the coops perch bar. It just slots in and comes out easily. As do the dividers on the shelf. We don’t tend to use the front door as I clean through the opening top. The outdoor part is ok. I have a tarp tie wrapped to the roof for protection from the rain as that’s where I put the food etc. You can’t get into that part to clean easily as it only has a tiny door for the rabbit to get out of. I haven’t yet, but in the summer I will add chicken wire to the bottom of the outdoor area to stop the rabbit digging out. It’s currently stood on concrete but will be moved to the grass when the weather is nicer. All in all it’s a great hutch for the money. I would have liked to have the option to buy the additional run from amazon but it’s not available.

FeelGoodUK coop's depressingly poor build quality doesn't leave you with much to feel good about!
From the minute you open the packaging and extricate the components from layers of paper and polystyrene, it's immediately clear that every expense has been spared - and that you've just wasted £100.The latches, hinges, and shoot bolts are all fabricated from the flimsiest pressed steel available, and the flat-packed structural components would barely constitute an upgrade from an equivalent scale matchstick model. Completing the woes born of this cost-cutting design is a complete lack of water-tightness in the assembled coop.Fortunately for me, being a carpenter, I was able to extensively reinforce, waterproof and upgrade the base structure, at the cost of several hours of my time, and another £75 in materials. However, for anyone searching for an off-the-shelf solution, despite appearances and promises to the contrary, I can assure you, this is not it.The sparseness of staples holding the flimsy wire to the optimistically termed 'run' frames, wouldn't prevent a determined chicken from breaking in, let alone a fox - and the lack of any locking mechanisms for the top wireframe means that all a predator need do is gently push it free, then jump in. Again, this is something I've had to upgrade. The primary problem I have with this abominable contraption is simply that I'd have been better off just building the entire thing from scratch. There's not one redeeming feature to be found, and I can't help but feel the manufacturer has rather cynically banked on the fact that most customers buying this simply wouldn't know how shoddy this coop actually is. In turn, this also means that the joke's on me as I really should've known better than to buy this in the first place! It's small, poorly constructed, flimsy, waterproof as a sponge, and less effective than a large plastic box of similar dimensions. In short, it's about as desirable as a common cold!

Strong well made
Ideal coup for 3 chickens no more. Two cosy nest boxes and two perches and small run. The chickens will need a bigger run to go in to through the day. We put the coup inside a bigger run and let them out early morning till roosting time then locked safely away at night.
