Handwriting Practice Book 1: English, Ages 5-7

This is a great book. It gives a number of exercises to trace and copy, but most importantly for me, it is exactly the same way of writing that my son, 5 years, is learning at school. If your child is using the pre cursive style then this is perfect. If they are doing block writing or fully joined up the. This isn't the book for you. Only negative comment is that some of the exercises are too advanced for my son, but I thought I would just pick and choose which exercises I get him to do,

My 8 year old has really been struggling with letter formation. But this book has massively helped her. She can now write clear, legible sentences. Definitely worth buying

Bought this for my daughter now we're back in lockdown again as you can't really do handwriting on a computer remotely! Great book. She's only done one page so far but she's keen to do more and I'm hoping it'll improve her writing. There aren't as many pages as I was expecting but it covers all of the letters both upper and lower cases.

Excellent book for everyday writing practice

I bought this quite a while ago and we have only just started working through it with my reluctant writer. Its a fantastic book doing a repetition of basic letter formation then words then longer sentences. To make it more exciting I have bought some nice colourful pens and my lo has to close his eyes pick a pen then write a line. He seems to be really enjoying it and we are making good progress. We were doing just basic individual letters before and this book progresses on from this.

My 6 years old still uses this to practice onetime.

I bought this book to help my 5 year old son and daughter with their handwriting. They had started to bring home from school words they had to learn to read and write. We soon discovered that the children didn't know how to form some letters correctly, this book is perfect to help with this problem. The book is very well set out, easy to use and the children like working through it.

I got it for my daughter to learn to write. She enjoyed using it and it helped her a lot.It is a standard book like I had as a kid in school. Just what I wanted. I got level 2 as well and it was the same experience.
