IRON °FLASK Flex Straw Lid for Wide Mouth Hydro Insulated Sports Modern Water Bottles, Simple BPA Free

Ordered these as replacement tops for my daughters 14oz IronFlask bottles that she had chewed the straw parts of. Perfect fit and she likes them better than the original ones because of the handle that moves so she can easily carry it. Great value. These also fit our thermoflask bottles as well. Highly recommend.

My wife's Iron Flask was a Christmas gift several years ago, and she's used it daily ever since. The brand has a great reputation, and she loves her container. We clean the lids and straws regularly, but the truth is that there simply comes a day when you can't clean the lid as well as you'd like, particularly if powdered additives are used regularly. That stuff eventually begins to accumulate in the lid and, once it does, it creates a foundation for mildew. You can scrub and chip away at it for a time, but it can't be removed with a normal cleaning past a certain point. I'm not interested in using harsh chemicals on something that my wife drinks from daily, so the solution is to start clean and fresh. This set is priced too affordably not to: two lids, two cleaning brushes, and another set of straws for $15 or less, depending upon the day. I feel good about that, and the material quality is outstanding--both the container and the accessories.

Great replacement for my old work lids.

I hate throwing a perfectly good water bottle away just because the lid got damaged or lost. Honestly, just trying to throw less things away in general. But yes, these lids work great. I have two old bottles with new lids now.

Background: Even though I have 2 Hydro Flask 40-oz containers for which I bought these, they fit perfectly fine. The straws provided are a little long, so you may need to cut to fit into the filter. I leave them a little long so that the straws curve into the base of the tumbler, halfway from the edge, to catch final drops of water. I purchase them every 6 months as they see almost daily usage. Good: 1. A good comprehensive package with lids, straws and straw cleaning brush. 2. Well packaged package. 3. Decent quality material for all the equipment provided. 4. Long lasting. Bad: 1. One of the lids I received in the first order was not air tight, this resulted in the water warming up faster in the container. I put it on both the containers to makes sure if the container was not losing its thermal effectiveness. 2. One of the lids in another order had issues of being too airtight, that I had to often loosen the lid to sip through the water. I tried cleaning it to make sure it was not user error. None of those 2 things are deal breakers, but I have decided to take a star from the review (4.2/5.0). Actions to not be Ugly: 1. The base of the lid often collects sludge and grime from the nutritional powders I use for workouts. It can become nasty real fast. Also, the straw can get slimy. I submerge overnight the entire lid assembly with straw in mild vinegar and himalayan salt. It does a pretty good job to clean everything. Bottomline: For less than $10.00 it is a good system, if they can workout the QA/QC issue, it will be truly a great system.

My original got...well...gnarly. The right thing to do is to have a pair of these lids and straws, and run one through the washing machine while you use the other one. Clean the flask by boiling a pot of water, empty the flask, add dish soap, and pour in the boiling water up to an inch or so of the top. Gently use a brush to swirl around and let it sit for a few minutes. Then pour out and rinse completely. That's the right thing to do - I just wait to long to do it any, uh, I've seen black mold growing in the silicone top. Nasty but very avoidable by cleaning about every 2 weeks.

As a soccer family, we have quite a collection of vacuum sealed water bottles, mostly Iron Flask and Hydro Flask. While I love both types of bottles (very durable and keep drinks cold for days), I find the lids for Hydro Flask bottles limiting. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that these Iron Flask lids work with both. They fit perfectly and the lid creates a tight seal around the bottle, preventing any spills or leaks. This Iron Flask Lid is a fantastic product that is highly recommended for anyone who uses a wide-mouth insulated sports water bottle, including Hydro Flask users. I like these better than the original lids that came on out Iron Flask water bottles. They have been much more leak proof that the others. I like the handle part that makes it so much more comfortable to carry around.

I needed a straw for my sports bottle. This was the perfect match as it had an handle and 2 pcs. One for my daily bottle and other one for my thermoflask 40oz. They both fit perfectly and the instructions were clear. Extra straws in the package in case you want to switch. Thanks !

i love Iron flask but sadly the handles break easily we had to fix it more than once and then eventually threw it away

Bought these lids for my ThermoFlasks. Cut the straw to fit the bottle and they work great. No leaks and very sturdy. Would definitely buy again.

Item works perfectly with 40oz Contigo bottle and Bubba bottle. Tight fit, no leaks!
