I bought this and a cheaper version to compare the difference as the blade kept falling out of my older y peeler.This peeler feels robust. Very sharp.Has the right width for a comfy grip.Don't feel the need to press the peeler - it glides and takes off the right amount of skin layering on the veg.I am impressed.As for the cheaper one - already I've got to glue the hand grip back to it. It's lighter and so you feel you have to apply pressure to peel anything.

This is a great item, it peels potatoes, and other veg with ease.It has a heavy, easy grip handle, that feels right in the hand.This little beauty, would .also not look out of place,in a professional kitchen.Its dishwasher safe, and has a 10 year guarantee, and for the price,its well worth not even thinking about it, and just buying it.I will certainly be recommending it to my friends and family.

I bought this vegetable peeler 4 years ago and am so pleased with it. Very strong and feels very hard wearing. It cuts through potatoes like butter with not much effort. The blade is very sharp and never needs sharpening. It peels butternut squash with little effort too. I am so pleased with this product I bought one for my daughter in law and she is delighted with it too.

I'd give it 5 stars but you have to push it on an apple to get it going. Pulling it won't make the first cut, otherwise it's great.

Loved by me hated by potatoes*One month in and still going strong. This has got me through upwards of 125 potatoes so far and still counting. It has also taken out 2 fingers - so I wouldn't recommend this for the young, infirm or for the inebriated/hungover as it is very sharp and can be dangerous if not properly controlled.I would happily recommend this to anyone! It is a good price and extremely effective. Teamed with ASDA's Finest potatoes this is a winner for chips, roasties. Suitable also for other veg - I think the seller is selling themselves short with the description. Could cope with at least carrots (if used gently) and at most a turnip (for the strong).Comfortable to use (carefully) and extremely effective tool. Well done.*And my sink too - which keeps clogging up with peelings.

This is borderline professional piece of equipment - solid all-metal construction, very balanced and ergonomic - slices through potatoes like butter.A word of warning - it is also EXTREMELY stupidly sharp . No joking - made a mistake of wiping it with a kitchen towel after first use - resulting in a long cut across the towel and my finger.

Arrived a day early and just used it for the first time. Never used one before, but have to say it is brilliant!Ergonomics are really good, design is really good and 'definitely not' cheep and tacky. Product has a decent weight, too. Sliced through veg with no effort and really quick. Perfect for anyone like me who has arthritic hands and have a problem peeling with a knife. Definitely recommend this product, and for the price it's well worth it. 5/5 🖒

Love it, I love the useful and dare I say accurate way that it can remove part of a finger or knuckle. Most impressive.When I'm not trying to remove my appendages with it, I find this peeler to be a rather wondrous thing that does peely things, very well indeed. I also like that you can peel one way and the other (opposite) without turning it, by which I mean, both sides are cutting edges, so you can push-pull, should you be so inclined and have the derring do spirit! Tally-ho!!

I had a really great peeler the kid took with her when she moved out and I was bummed because it was great. I replaced it with this peeler and holy crap! Now I feel bad mine is better than hers! This peeler has some weight to it, so you don't have to push down as hard and it's SUPER SHARP. It just glides along the vegetables and peels the skin off with ease. Great product!
