Does this machine plug into a standard 110v 20 amp outlet?

Yes, it does, and it works very well

Can this be turned on and stay on without a time limit?

This little machine is powerful and you have to turn it off by its time limit based on the area space you put it in. You can go a little over, but nit much and it really depends on how big the area is. Plus, you have to make sure the area is closed off and no one is in the area. When you return don't breath it, use a mask and open up all windows/doors to air out for a 1/2 hr to a hour before you go back in the area.

How many times can i use it in my car if the smell is still there ?

I would use it for a half hour, let the car ssmit another 15 minutes and then open all of the doors to ventilate. Redo one more time. You didn't mention what kind of smell you have in your car. That would have been helpful.

Can the plate be changed out after the 8000 hours?
