PURINA ONE Chicken Dry Cat Food 6kg

Our cat (and our visiting hedgehogs) love this. Its a much better price than I can find it anywhere else too, with quick delvery. Her coat is shinny and she is healthy. What more could we need from it.

Fab. Cat loves it, doesn’t smell half as much as other brands. Huge bag which lasts ages! My cat is much happier now I swapped over. Ingredients are much better too.

Great size bag, cats love purina, always have, the bag is naff, the seal is useless, I bought a container to prevent humidity getting in otherwise it would've been 5*. There are apparently some low star reviews here, which I'd like to point out are people generally feeding their cat this dry food for the first time and blaming it for them being sick, and if you know cats when they switch food they do tend to be sick, or have bad bellies, because they're not used to it, especially if there's significant differences between the food brands, e.g. if you go from cheap cat food to good cat food, your cat will be a little ill. As for pink and red vomit, I dont think thats from food, there is no food in the vomit, thats all been digested meaning their bodies didn't try and eject the food, meaning it probably wasn't the food, its something else. Cats are sensitive to a plethora of things and I dont know if people realise they're probably making their own cats ill with scented candles, air fresheners, cleaning products, perfumes, hygiene products and plants that can be incredibly toxic to cats. There is also a chance the cats have sensitive tummies which can happen in cats. Then there's the simple fact that some cats will simply not react well to perfectly good food. Point is the vast majority of customers are happy with this product so I'm willing to bet the few cats that were negatively effected were probably just on a new diet, a bit sensitive to the food, or ill because of something else unrelated to food. (Or in the case of the urinary cat, unlucky, like eating too much of anything will cause issues, maybe this was due to a greedy cat over indulging on dry food so much it caused a blockage?) I'm not a professional, these are just my opinions based on my own experiences and knowledge of cats, so take them as you will, but personally, I dont see anything wrong with the food, and neither do my cats who get both store bought bags and bulk bags from amazon, never had an issue, and my vet said my girls were healthy, beautiful coats, good teeth, good weights and my 10 year old has as few health conditions as my 1 year old; none. They're both raised on a mix of felix agail wet food and purina one dry food. If I could afford super perfect diets I would but this is the best I can do with what I have and its working, my girls are happy and healthy, thats all I need to know.

My cats love this as a supplement to their wet food. My vet recommended this food and it’s quite a good price compared to other brands. Happy cats!

My cats certainly enjoy this Purina One dry cat food. I think it’s their new favourite! They like both the Chicken and Salmon varieties.

I’ve just started buying PURINA ONE Chicken Dry Cat Food (6kg) and honestly, I’m really pleased with it. I’ve got two cats who are usually quite fussy, and they both immediately loved this. No sniffing and walking off like they usually do – they just tucked straight in! I’ve noticed a real difference in their coats too. They look shinier and feel softer, and they just seem a bit brighter and more playful in general. Even my lazy one, who normally enjoys a dramatic lie-down more than anything else, has a bit more energy. The 6kg bag lasts a good amount of time, and the resealable top actually works, so the food stays fresh which is a bonus. All in all, I’m sticking with this. The cats are happy, their bowls are always empty, and I feel like I’ve finally found a food that suits them both. Would definitely recommend!
