C-Style Pen Set - 1 Penholder w/ 6 Nibs

This order of Speedball C and Speedball ink arrived a week before the due date, amazing service. These products are so lovely to use, they make calligraphy practise a real pleasure in respect there is no mess, just dip and write...excellent. I have ordered a few items, and no doubt I'll be ordering more. Thanks for a great product and an equally great service.

I tried working with these in a workshop and I can recommend them. Really good qualitiy

I was looking forward to these, but they aren't that great quality. I'd doing Celtic calligraphy in an uncial script, and I just compared two identical pieces of writing, using the same ink & paper, one with Leonard manuscript nibs, and one with Speedball. The Leonardt words are smooth and professional-looking, but the Speedball writing - and I tried all 6 nibs - is sort of raggedy-looking round the edges. I think if you were a beginner and had nothing to compare them with, they'd seem okay, but I am disappointed, and will be sticking with Leonardt. :(

It's Speedball. What could go wrong. Based on price, I purchased these to replace my existing C series nibs that are over 30 years old.

素人なので参考になるかわかりませんが……。 最初に買ったペンは細い初心者用なのか、検索等したらよく出てくる物を購入してチャレンジ。楽しくていろんな字体も書けるようになりたい！とCタイプを探しまして。最初はサインペン型で手入れもしなくて良いもので、色んなメーカー試しましたが線がヨレヨレになってうまく書けず。 そんな中、こちらの本来？のスタイルCペンを購入して書いてみたところ、自分でびっくりするくらいこちらのペンが描きやすく、上にも下にも横にもきれいに線がかけます。 ちなみに私、練習用には100円の墨汁で100円で50枚くらいの無地ハガキか英語のノートにひたすら書いて練習しています。 キャップを外せばすぐ書ける、ペン仕様に比べれば準備も片付けも手間かかりますが…… ペン仕様でなかなかうまくいかない……と諦めかけた方に、これも是非使ってみて欲しいなぁと思います。

Ce sont des plumes de qualité. La livraison est un peu longue car elles viennent des US. Prix très raisonnable. Livrée avec un porte plume agréable à tenir
