How much does it weigh?

The item weight is listed in the item listing. The 4 foot ramp weighs about 40 pounds. I find it too heavy and unwieldy for easy use.

Are the hinges stainless steel?

The hinges are metal but I can not tell if they are stainless steel.

I have a 21-23 inch set of 3 steps. Would the 8 ft version of this ramp work?

Based on my experience with the 10ft version, the 8ft would “work”, but it would be borderline due to the steepness of the incline. The 2ft length difference doesn’t sound like much, but the weight of the person being pushed up or down the ramp will determine whether it will work or not. A person self-propelling their wheelchair would be really tough going up. My suggestion would be to use an 8ft board like a 2X4 to model the incline to see if it’s reasonable. If questionable, go for the 10ft.
