Gentle, High-Quality Toothpaste That Leaves Teeth Feeling Truly Clean
I’ve been using this Bioniq toothpaste for a while now, and it’s honestly one of the more impressive alternatives to traditional toothpaste I’ve tried. The texture is smooth and the mint flavor is clean without being overpowering—it leaves your mouth feeling fresh, but not in that overly intense, artificial way some toothpastes do. What really stands out is how gentle it feels while still doing a great job cleaning. The hydroxyapatite formula is a big plus for me since it’s meant to help strengthen enamel and protect teeth over time, which you don’t always get with standard toothpaste. I’ve also noticed my teeth feel smoother after brushing, almost like that just-left-the-dentist feeling. Another thing I appreciate is that it’s fluoride-free and doesn’t have that harsh or foamy feel you sometimes get from other brands. It seems especially good if you have sensitive teeth or just want something a bit more balanced for everyday use. Honestly, I don’t have any real complaints. It’s a little more “specialty” than your typical toothpaste, but it feels worth it for the quality and how well it performs.

Really does help with sensitivity!!
I’m love this Bioniq Classic 20% Hydroxyapatite toothpaste. I had one tooth that had been sensitive for a while and I almost had a root canal because of it but the sensitivity has almost completely stopped bothering me so no need for a root canal now! I’ve also noticed a subtle whitening effect which is nice but nothing major. This toothpaste has a subtle smell and taste that is pretty pleasant and it also leaves my mouth feels clean without any harshness. This has become my favorite toothpaste , and I’d definitely repurchase it. My husband has also noticed it has helped his tooth sensitivity as well!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Well-Formulated Fluoride-Free Option with High Hydroxyapatite Content
As someone with a clinical background and a strong interest in evidence-based oral care, I’m very selective about toothpaste formulations—especially fluoride-free options. Bioniq Classic stands out due to its 20% hydroxyapatite concentration, which is notably higher than most alternatives on the market. Hydroxyapatite is chemically similar to the mineral structure of natural tooth enamel, and products formulated correctly can support enamel integrity and help reduce sensitivity. After several weeks of consistent use, I’ve noticed improved tooth smoothness, reduced sensitivity, and good overall gum comfort, which aligns with what I would expect from a high-quality hydroxyapatite formulation. The product is clinically tested, uses a non-abrasive feel, and the mint flavor is mild and well-tolerated, making it suitable for daily use without irritation. It cleans effectively without leaving a chalky residue or causing sensitivity flare-ups, which is a common issue with many “natural” toothpastes. While this toothpaste is priced higher than typical over-the-counter options, the formulation quality and results justify the cost. For individuals seeking a fluoride-free toothpaste focused on enamel support and sensitivity management, this is a solid, well-designed option. I would feel comfortable recommending this to patients or individuals looking for an alternative to traditional fluoride toothpastes.

Twice as effective as 10% paste
First use leaves teeth twice as smooth as 10% hydroxyapatite gel paste I used prior. Minimal mint taste and minimal foaming.

Several weeks in, and going very well.
I don't really know what to think about the fluoride health scare. Some people think it is a horrible poison, while others think it is perfectly harmless. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. But I think it won't do any harm to stop using it, at least for a short time. Nano Hydroxyapatite has been used in Europe for quite a while without issues, so I decided to give it a go. This Bioniq claims to have the highest percentage of Hydroxyapatite of any brand. I seriously researched and could not find any other brand that met that standard. There were a few with 10%, and some with 15%, even one with 18%, but Bioniq was the only brand with 20%. Considering that it is supposed to be the active ingredient, and the prices of all the brands were similar, it was an easy choice to make. Then, just before I ordered it, I asked my dentist about it. He actually gave it his blessing. That was the deciding factor! I used it for the first time last night, then again this morning. My first impression was that it didn't seem any different than other toothpastes. It had the same texture, smell, and feel in the mouth. If I had to pick something to differentiate, I might say it was a little less sweet-tasting, which is something I appreciate. My teeth felt just as clean and fresh as when I used my other toothpaste. Will it whiten my teeth? Maybe, but my teeth are not too stained anyway, because I don't drink coffee. Will it adversely affect my dental health? Probably not in the short term. I realize it will take time to know if this is worth it, so stay tuned, and I will update this review after I finish this tube. 3/28/2026 Update: After using this for the past several weeks, I am impressed! I haven't done anything differently besides swapping out my usual toothpaste for the Bioniq. I went to my semi-annual dental cleaning and was asked if I had been doing something extra, because my teeth were unusually clean and had less plaque and tartar. The only thing I can attribute this to is the Bioniq. Yes, it is more expensive, but I feel it is certainly worth it. 4/06/2026 update: I think I should mention a few points that I may have skimmed over in the first pat. 1. My regular toothpaste was a popular sensitive brand using potassium nitrate and, of course, sodium fluoride. I still won't get into the controversy regarding sodium fluoride because I think the jury is still out on the long terms effects. But, I will comment on potassium nitrate. This does absolutely nothing to fill in the tiny tubules and caries that expose the nerves, it only acts as a numbing agent. That is where, I think, the major benefit of hydroxyapatite comes in. It replaces some of the lost calcium, remineralizes the teeth with the exact substance that makes up over 80% of your teeth naturally. It also smooths out the surface of teeth making it more difficult for plaque to adhere. 2. After the first couple of weeks without my "sensitive" formula toothpaste, I started to feel twinges of pain in my teeth when eating certain foods. Regardless, I persevered and stuck to the new regimen. Within another week or two the pain subsided and I have not felt any discomfort since then. 3. It may be too early to know for sure, and I might be imagining the benefit, but I feel that my teeth are actually smoother than they were before. Anyway, I have felt good enough about Bioniq that I have purchased more and will continue to use it. 4. I will be visiting my dentist again this summer to have a tooth that I broke last year repaired. I plan to have an extensive discussion regarding Bioniq. If he has any significant things to say, I will return to this review and make another update. Until otherwise noted, I stand behind my five stars!!!

Fluoride toothpaste… Never Again
I absolutely love this toothpaste. My teeth are several shades whiter. They are no longer sensitive. Minty fresh taste. Cleanest my teeth have felt from brushing alone.
