Pestbye® Long Life Battery Operated Sonic Rat and Mouse Repellent - Ultrasonic Rat & Mice Repeller

Got this for the caravan in winter storage. Since I got it NEVER seen any sign of a mouse. Either they are getting smarter or this works. 😁

I have bought a number of these over time and find they work in enclosed spaces for mice, not sure about other rodents and certainly not squirrels. Not effective at all outside. I would advise more than one in a loft.

The house suddenly had a lot of night-time scuffling, chewing and droppings, so I ordered one of these mains-free repellers. I put it down in my mother's room the day it arrived, and I also bought a different brand plug-in device for the lounge to deter mice from getting in through the fireplace. (I will dot a few other brands around the house as well this week, so no mice ever get comfortable.) Some mice seem to have been dislodged, so it looks like at least one of the two repellers is working. The cats brought us more dead mice than usual the day I put the devices down. I suspect some mice have pups and will take time to leave. I'm happy to see that the sound doesn't trouble the cats one bit. The leaflet with one of the repellers, I forget which it was, said that cats can't hear it.So far I have the following feeling about this device:No surprise if mice with babies stay to raise them.No surprise if the place immediately gets lots of mice running around, they probably come out of their nests because of the noise.No surprise if hungry little mice just block their ears and go for bait, if there is any bait nearby.No surprise if mice get used to the sound after a while.I'll update in September or so, because either this was an amazingly fast result, or there are more mice lurking in the wall cavities.Update in September: Looks like we got an amazingly fast result. No mice in the house now, so I moved the battery repeller to the shed, where there's no electricity, about a month ago. No mice in the shed either, not that I ever saw any in the first place. On the down side, the little frog that I saw a few times in the shed seems to have moved out.

I bought this with high hopes as I get rats in my hen house. The little beggars aren't even phased by this device and I have watched them on my phone using a camera situation in the hen house - so I KNOW it doesnt work. When doing some research, it is advertised as a spider deterrent in other places - I cant comment on this I just know it doesn't work on rats. Total waste of money, though I may repurpose it, see if it does anything to moths and spiders.

I bought this item to keep rats out of my shed. It arrived after I'd got rid of them, but I put it up in any event and have had no rats or mice in the the shed since. I would definitely recommend to keep them out!

These seem to work, alongside some other solution (Proofing, Citronella spray), bought 1 6 months ago, just bought another for a different area. Very easy to sue and install, good value for money. Cant comment on battery life as yet.

Haben die Ratte über eine Cam ,mit Zoom beobachtet.Dann das Gerät aufgestellt. Die Ratte war sichtlich irritiert,nahm kaum Restfutter auf.Dieses haben wir täglich beobachtet.Nach einer Woche wurden die Abstände der Suche immer größer.Jetzt nach gut 3 Wochen,keine Besuche mehr!!!Ich hoffe das bleibt so.Wir sind von dem Teil überzeugt.

Facile à installer. Pas bruyant. Pas de parasites dans mon grenier. Très heureux.
