A brilliant reference book with a very brief introduction to the principles. If you are intested in finding out more about the principles and the history of this you will need another book (as I did) but this will be the one that I keep going back to as my little one gets bigger.

Hugely dissapointed by the outdated sleep "advice"
Any book that recommends putting babies down sleepy but awake, or taught to "self-soothe" should be widely avoided, and I wish I'd known this book would encourage that before I bought it. Considering this is supposed to be a book to help parents raise well developed children, then I was truly appalled to see it promoting and suggesting sleep advice that could harm emotional intelligence development and hinder bonding with care givers.

Practical (not preachy) book of things to do aligned to the Montessori method.
Fantastic introductory book to the principles and practises of the Montessori way. NOT preachy but practical. It's more like a Dummies guide for Dad's imho. I'm finding it useful for bite size ideas of things to implement and do with my 2Y0.

Love this practical approach
This is an easy read for anyone interested in implementing Montessori into their home. The practical suggestions are easy to understand and try out. I also like being able to jump around the book for ideas instead of reading from beginning to end. Many other Montessori books I’ve read make me feel like I’m a horrible mother for not making my child’s entire world Montessori. This book does not. The book offers suggestions without condescension. It’s a great read, has great ideas, and easy to use. As an early childhood educator, I’d recommend it to anyone with a young child in their life!

Recomiendo el libro, no es un manual para profesionales, sino divulgativo y bastante útil.
