Salt Inhaler - Himalayan Salt Pipe - Natural Respiratory Aid

I bought 2 of these. Unfortunately one did get broken during transit. Amazon dealt with it quickly. The remaining salt pipe is extremely good, and I would recomend whilst it`s good value for the money.

Wow, this product is amazing. Like other reviewers, I was skeptical about this, but moved by other's positive experiences. I felt for under £20 it was worth a punt. I suffered from severe childhood asthma but overcame this through a complete change in diet and lifestyle - initiated in childhood (I was extremely precocious!) I have therefore not been dependent on inhalers or suffered asthma attacks in years - until now, when I find myself in love with my man and his adorable dog - my dog; a long-haired springer spaniel. So I've recently begun struggling again with breathing difficulties and a cough. As soon as this arrived, I gave it a try and felt better - seriously, it was immediate. However I put this down to placebo effect. But it's been a few days now and I am definitely feeling better, coughing and wheezing much, much less. Sleeping through the night again, easily. And due to being super busy at work, I have not even been very regular with the use of it. I'm sure with more regular use, as recommended I will see even greater benefits. Therefore I heartily recommend this product to anyone in a similar position. The benefits of Himalayan salt are easy to research online - though there are some caveats too. But generally I use the pink salt in my diet (and in the bath!) and intuitively feel - in terms of the former, it is definitely helpful for topping up iron levels, etc. A really lovely product. It feels nice in your hand and mine arrived promptly. I am tempted to buy another for my partner who snores - as it apparently helps in this way too.

I give this product 5 stars! Without a doubt! When I was reading about this product before buying it, I thought hmmmm is this really as good as everyone makes it out to be? IT IS. First of all, it is important to mention you will only get the BEST benefits from this by taking it for 15 minutes a day (5 mins, 3 times a day). If you take this product routinely you will see fantastic results. I am someone who suffers from Athsma. I dont suffer too badly but recently got a chest infection and then bronchitis to follow. Taking the salt pipe inhaler significantly reduced my breathlessness (a long with my other inhalers obviously). I did not receive as much relief from my prescribed inhalers as I did from this so that is saying something!! Its great for clearing any mucus from your lungs or just general congestion really. I would even recommend it to people suffering from sinus problems or hayfever. Even from just one use you can feel the ease in your breathing!! Whether it be from nasal congestion or congestion in the chest. If you're unsure whether or not you believe this product is as "amazing" as it says, just go for it and purchase it. Take the chance because I'm telling you its so worth it and you'll be sooo happy you got it. I am. Great seller too :) This product has improved my overall wellbeing greatly! Just want to also say to anyone who is saying that the cover falls off easily, turn it inside out and then put it on. Wayyyy better :) youre welcome :)

Have only just received this salt pipe and really hoping that it helps, I guess time will tell. I have been wanting to try one for several years and always put it off. I'm recovering at present from a cold/chest infection. All colds gravitate to my chest pretty much without fail. I have asthma and in the past chronic bronchitis and pleurisy. I chose this pipe because it was refillable and wasn't plastic, I thought it seemed a good long term choice only problem is that even though the pictures show a whitish one and the description states cream, mine is blue! Also, the blue glaze is a little bloomed in places, not quite right. Not really happy with the colour (or the glaze) but really want to get on with using it and what is to say that if I exchange it I will get a white/cream one next time. So just be aware if you want a white one this isn't guaranteed. Will try to update after I have been using it for a while.

As a hay fever sufferer, I have been looking everywhere for 'remedies' There is no cure, but this little salt pipe has greatly reduced a cough I have had for at least 12 months. Along with all the other precautions I use (eg hat/anti histamines/ showering and washing clothes when I come in) my garden is now a place I can enjoy again. I use this salt pipe mostly just before bed and I pretty much sleep right through nowadays. A very slight taste of salt. That's it. A brilliant item. Just wish I'd found it years ago.

I purchased this after reading all the various reviews and hype on this site and on the internet, I suffer from bad asthma and bad allergies that effect me 24/7 365 days a week. I was hoping to be able to cut down on some of the medication I have to take for my asthma but I found this to be no more than a gimmick and absolutely useless for my asthma or allergies. It is not pleasant breathing in vapour from salt but I thought I would give it a try. I would advise any asthma or allergy sufferers not to waste their money on this "Not so amazing" gimmick. The only thing that's Amazing is the price for such rubbish. I will have to stick to the prescription inhalers. Also made me feel sick and very thirsty. Nice heavyweight container that I may find a better use for. Even as an ornament it would be more use!

After I ordered a salt pipe I told a friend about it and she told me about the Salt Cave http://saltcave.co.uk/adults/. As there was one within an hour's drive of where I live, and the first session is free to new clients, I decided to make a booking. I had my free session on Saturday: it's now nearly 48 hours since my session and, apart from a bit of throat clearing, I haven't coughed since. This is the first time for probably several years that I've gone that long without coughing. I can't really comment yet on whether the salt pipe is effective, as I only started using it a couple of days before my Salt Cave session, but it does appear that salt therapy has helped in my case, so I'm continuing to use the salt pipe in the hope that it will continue the good work started by the Salt Cave. I had been coughing daily for over ten years (frequently leading to throwing up quantities of mucus) and after blood tests, x-rays, a camera up the nose, inhalers, nasal sprays, antihistamines etc etc etc, the doctors had given up on me. I even tried homeopathy and acupuncture in my desparation. None of it made any difference and this is the first time I've had a glimmer of hope.

Voila, après une operation pour bruler ses amygdales et vegetations, mon fils a une amygdale qui est revenue... et autant de problem sinusite depuis... donc j'essaie ce produit, ca me semble logique, a voir dans quelque mois. Produit est arrive vite, sans problem, toujours un plaisir d'acheter sur amazon!!
