Nice tea but to me it tastes like shredded wheat and not popcorn

Makes a lovely cup of tea. I've tried quite a few Genmaicha teas and this one's the best so far. I just love the aroma of the toasted rice right before you take a sip. The tea temples are great & you get a decent portion of rice in each one.This is not an overpowering tea either so suits a tea rookie like me.

This tea is one of my favourite green teas. I order it again and again. The malty rounded flavour gives you something extra than an ordinary green teaThis works very well for me as I don’t on the whole like green tea, which I find bitter and ‘fishy’ tasting. The idea of toasted rice mixed in with the tea leaves may sound strange, but the rice seems to take away the bitter taste, making the tea really easy to drinkI love this tea - refreshing and tasty. Large leaves with almost no dust. I drink this at any time of day. .I put a large pinch in a mug and I use the leaves twice. The second mug is as good as the first.It is best steeped in filtered water, as with all quality green teas, for the best flavour. Very good for late afternoon or evening drinking, it does not disappoint. This tea is divine & having it loose means I can control its strength..Im very pleased with the tea.

It is good. Well, it is not really tasted as popcorn. More like a rice tea. But still good to try.

I've been purchasing teapigs teas for 2 years, and I wouldn't buy anything else.I love starting my day with a green tea, instead of a coffee now, as a healthier option.The smell of this unique green tea is absolutely phenomenal. I love the little 'popcorns' mixed with the green tea.It is a little pricy but I am sticking to this brand as I like their mission and goals

It's OK, but not great when compared to similar tea imported from Japan. The popcorn aroma is quite subdued.

I bought this tea as a gift for my partner thinking it would be a bit cute and taste nice (as Teapigs have great quality tea), but never expected it to be so delicious. It has a nice green tea base, but the popcorn adds a wonderful, sweet dimension of flavour (it's says like sugar pops, and I would wholeheartedly agree with that). My partner likes it as it comes, but I add just a little bit of honey.If you are skeptical, I understand, but definitely give this a try! It would make an amazing gift for anyone who loves tea or someone who likes stuff that is a bit different from the norm.

I really love Tea pigs, they are great quality and have yet to find a bad one, that was until I tried this flavour. Just tastes like rice Krispies in water and gives a really bad after taste. Really awful.

I waited for this tea to go on a good sale because I thought it was somewhat pricey.Glad I tried it!It does have a small taste of popcorn if you are not eating food at the same time you drink this.Also a supporter of drinking green tea for health purposes.Good gift for that tea drinker that has everything already and is hard to buy for.

This is one of my favorite teas. The quality is always there as well as the unique flavor.

I didn't know what to expect regarding the flavor, but expected more of the nutty taste of popcorn. The taste was slight. Mostly colored water. Would not buy again.
