When the Proheeder Bed Wedge arrives it is flat "Vac-packed." Cut open the wrapping and it immediately comes to life and becomes Wedge shaped. I bought the Proheeder Bed Wedge mainly so I can sit up in bed for reading or reclining watching TV and it is perfect for this. Some reviewers have said that the Proheeder Bed Wedge is narrower than a standard pillow. I haven't tried it on its own. I use it with a pillow in front as you see in the product pictures. I find it very comfortable. I haven't tried sleeping with it yet as I have a Tempur Ergonomic pillow and my partner has her classic Tempur Pillow. The width of the Proheeder works well if you share a bed to as it doesn't take up your partners pillow space. I would happily recommended this product to anyone looking to purchase a Bed Wedge for Reading and reclining perfect for watching TV in bed. For added luxury try it with a V shaped pillow in front. Can easily sit and read in bed for hours at a time now.

I love this cushion. My wife bought it for herself but I am the one using it. I use it with a couple of pillows across it and I find its fine and I don't really think you could make it less hard because it wouldn't provide the required support. A better word than hard would probably be firm but that is very hard to judge and explain to someone else. It provides decent support for my lower back which has been giving me trouble lately. Doesn't fix back pain but does help in comfort. Wouldn't use it to sleep on since it's uncomfortable if you lie on your side. Thank you so much.

I didn't use it, but my grandmother was in a car accident and needed it to be propped up following her release from hospital. Certainly works for its job, and to prop pillows on. It will however not replace a pillow. Also they will send you a lot of emails asking for reviews, so, be ready for that...

Difficult to get comfortable with. Gives very firm support. rather narrow when need to add pillows for comfort. very individual purchase, likely to be fine for some people and not others

Bought this for my brother who has COPD. He has his bed raised so when he sleeps he is on an incline, but he needed something for during the day. This pillow has been perfect for him. He can sit with the pillow for support, or he can turn it and have a more reclined position. He does not use it for sleeping.

This nice, firm bed wedge has really helped to alleviate the back pain that was disturbing my sleep. After a night propped up with this support, I am able to get up feeling refreshed with only minimal pain and stiffness. It's no exaggeration to say that this has made a big difference in my life. Highly recommended!

I bought this product for my mother, as she underwent a shoulder operation and needed to sleep in a seated position. The item arrived on time and it is super comfortable, even for sleeping. We are very satisfied and will purchase another one to have in the living room. Another plus for me is that the product is Made in Portugal. Great quality. Great price. Definitely recommend.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto esclusivamente per dormire in posizione supina e metterlo, quindi, sotto le ginocchia; avendo problemi di ernia, il mio bisogno era di scaricare la schiena, e con questo cuscino ho risolto! Prima ero costretta a mettere due o tre cuscini e il letto finiva per sembrare un campo di battaglia... E' poco che lo uso ma non da segni di cedimento, è leggero ma duro e compatto. Provato anche nelle altre due posizioni, è risultato un ottimo sostegno anche per leggere o guardare la tv. Ben rifinito e la copertura si può lavare ogni volta che si vuole. Se dovessi fare un piccolo appunto, sarebbe che la cerniera capita proprio nell'incavo delle ginocchia ed è un po' fastidiosa ma da qualche parte dovevano pur metterla! :D e ho risolto mettendoci sopra un asciugamano. E' arrivato sottovuoto ma con una scatola gigante in confronto alla confezione e, pensandoci su, credo fosse perché, nel caso di reso e avendolo aperto, non avrei avuto problemi rimetterlo nella scatola. Amazon pensa sempre a tutto!
