I bought this primarily for my car - I find the side bolstering on many car seats too aggressive and often find myself sitting on them rather than between them. The idea of this cushion was to raise me a little in the seat - enough to reduce the pressure on my thighs against the side bolsters. It did this very well - although be aware that by doing this you lose some of the stability offered by the bolsters and rely more on the bolstering on the back of the car seat. So if you have little or now support on the back of your car seat then this cushion - while providing the necessary comfort for your bum/legs, may force you to strain your lower back a little more than usual in corners as you counter the lack of support. Where I have actually found more use for this cushion in during training courses/workshops/lectures etc. where you tend to sit on rock hard plastic seats for prolonged periods. I recently took this cushion to a weekend course and it did a great job of making these long stationary periods quite comfortable, despite the poor seating. For me it actually worked well on the back of the chair rather than the seat. As seen in other reviews, mine too came 'the wrong way round' i.e. the inner foam/rubber was flipped compared to the outer fabric casing, but this is resolved easily. Note the dimensions - it is not small - and so if you are considering portability this requires a decent sized bag to carry it in. Over all worth the price for me - a well designed product.

Very good quality item. Delivered when promised and very well packaged. This cushion is very comfortable and supports my low back, which I have problems with when driving. I have a Nissan Note and feel very low down, this cushion gives you additional height which is more comfortable. The only issue I have, is that the cushion does not cover the full car seat, it's great across the seat, but short length wise, so the back of your legs rests on the end of the cushion, then the end of your car seat, but saying that, would recommend this item

This is decent rubberised cushion, with good cover. Nope it is not Gel feel, to call it Gel feel they must have some weird Gel. Cushion is comfortable, and can feel rubber weaving but soft. I use it for long drives and long flights, easy to roll it to suitcase or fit in.

Not too bad, could do with being a couple of inches longer, so fits to the front of the seat. Cuts discomfort by 90%

This is a great piece of kit for any driver. Very comfortable, supportive and it doesn't slip or move around the seat. Bought one for mum too who also appreciates the extra height in her driving position. Just watch out it has been assembled correctly; ours had the padding inserted upside down which would have compromised comfort if we hadn't noticed. Easy to take out of the liner and correct though...

Despite this one being bigger than most, it still leaves you with your glutes hanging on the edge, which gets incredibly uncomfortable, very fast. None of these "Comfort Cushions" are comfortable seemingly because they are all too narrow, so your left with them digging into your glutes or your butt hanging off the sides. Very poor attempt at a comfort cusion. The material its made of it rough and really attracts dirt/hair too.

I bought this for the seat in my Mini, as a booster cushion to raise me up a little. It fits perfectly in the seat, is firm but comfortable and supportive and being black, blends well with the car upholstery.

I'm not sure how you would define a gel feel, inners are made up of foam and a waffle type soft rubber topper ,however, I was very happy with the next day delivery and the cushion was surprisingly well sized. I had purchased this cushion to use on overseas flights as I find the modern airplane seats very uncomfortable, it fits well in my hand luggage and is the perfect size for the seat. I was skeptical about the performance of the cushion, as first impressions are not any different than a standard cushion, how wrong I was, this is a fantastic product, light weight and cool the seven hour flight was like a free upgrade... I now take this on every flight, it makes such a difference, I would highly recommend this product. it takes a little bit of time to appreciate how well it actually works, but work it does!
