I bought these Acumed Magnetic Pain Relief Patches for my son, and honestly, I didn’t have high hopes. Magnets for pain relief? I thought it sounded more like a superhero gimmick than actual science. But here I am, pleasantly surprised and slightly humbled. He has used them for his back, knees, and neck, and swears by them. I find these stickers very helpful for painful joints in my hands and wrists and have purchased these before. Very good product.

Bought them for my tension headaches and sadly didn't work for them. However I've been suffering from awful sciatica for the past 5 weeks and thought that I would try them on my back. I'm 48 hrs into wearing them and I must say that my back is feeling 70 percent better. They have survived a shower with no signs of falling off.

Poor Quality. The patches do not stick , they would never last a day let alone the recommended 3 days. Did not stay on after my shower this morning, so will not last the day after my evening shower. Pain relief is not noticeable. Would not buy again.

I usually buy these patches from the country's biggest chemist - which as far as I know is the only High Street store that sells them. Bought on line a couple of times from Amazon and found that they do not seem as effective as those bought in the store.I do not know why this is so!Acumed patches do work for me - they will never stop really severe pain but they are very good in easing the odd ache that we all get as we get older. One word - persevere!! Don't expect immediate miracles.

I obtained a decent looking set of ACUMED stick-on magnets which I wanted to give to a friend in dire need of medically supervised but unrelieved discomfort. I wanted to know the strength (gauss or tesla) and now instantly cross off from my list any supplier who omits such basic information. Because ACUMED was referenced in some respected sources {including medical practitioners and researchers) , I tried to get info from an ACUMED support path but failed to get any response! I will happily do a later review supportive of ACUMED if I find that this gross deficiency is corrected. It needs to be provided as part of any advert not something a customer has to find out after purchase. I did provide the magnet set I purchased BUT the user experienced problems with the stick on magnets in a shower (they all fell off). I'm not surprised at that! However, as a test, I'd already used one of the magnets on my leg which was duly poured over with soapy water and rinsed in routine daily washing. It was still firmly attached to my leg 14 days later, if anything more firmly than when it was put on initially! Bony locations on neck or lower back may be more problematic than mid thigh locations. I hope ACUMED can provide a RANGE of stick on magnets of different magnetic strengths so that sensitivity to pain may, in some circumstances, be corrected without piling one stick on magnet on top of another - which is painful if the user rolls on it during sleep movements.

I was extremely skeptical about these patches but after suffering for weeks with arthritic pain in my lower back and hips I was willing to give anything a go especially as all the medication I am on was hardly touching the pain.I received these and put one on straight away and to my surprise within a couple of hours I was able to get up and walk without any pain shooting through my back and hips.I would highly recommend giving these a go, they may be expensive but definitely worth it.

I am disabled and on top of all my other troubles I have a lump in my lower back that presses on my spine and causes serious pain and discomfort, however, using these pads has eased this to the point where I can actually get about without wanting to cry every time I take a step. I haven't tried them on every painful place I have (I'd need a couple of boxes a time) but at least I can deal with life a little better now. My mother has serious problems with arthritis in both knees, they are swelled and creak really loudly if she bends them (sitting/rising & going upstairs etc) but within 24 hours or putting patches on them the swelling had almost disappeared and she could bend both knees much more easily. I started by buying just one box of 8 but have purchased a larger pack now I know they work for us as it works out cheaper. They may seem a little pricey but if you think about wearing one for 5/6 days it doesn't seem so bad. One word of warning, be careful not to use any body cream etc or they won't stick for long, I lost a couple quite quickly before realising my shower gel had inbuilt moisturiser! once I stopped using this before applying patches they lasted for week at a time
