I love this visual aid. It is great for demonstrating concepts such as 2 x 1/3 = 2/3 whereas 2/2 x 1/3 = 2/6. It is easy to show that 1/3 = 2/6. It is adult enough to be used with GCSE students and has been a wonderful tool for explaining concepts of fractions and decimals to students who need to visualise what they are learning if they are to grasp the principles. It makes explanations of how to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions much easier. The colours are great!

Excellent product. I bought these to help overcome numeracy issues for one student. Being able to physically compare different fractions with their equivalent decimals and percentages has changed her approach from fear and obstruction to inquisitive competence and a willingness to try things out to find out how they work. Really pleased. I followed these up with Fraction Action Snap, which she very much enjoys playing.

I bought this to help my son understand fractions better than I could explain them. When I bought this my son was 8 yrs old. I think it has given him a greater understanding of fractions and helped me explain them to him more simply. I also use this for my daugter who is 6 yrs old. It has really helped them both and I would highly recommend this product to anyone with young children especially when doing homework. Amazon offer excellent value, packaging and service.

A great learning tool for maths

My 6 yr old daughter is enjoying maths and so I thought I'd purchase this product to introduce fractions. We've only had it a few days but she loves clicking the blocks together and looking at the fractions. I haven't spent that much time explaining fractions to her yet (as she's still fairly young) but we did have fun working out similar fractions (I.e two quarters equal a half). A great product which I'm sure will be used lots! We bought fraction action snap as well which is equally as good.

Strong, colourful, versatile, durable and tactile. Children of all ages will love using them. Originally, purchased during lockdown. Both grandchildren love using them, it's very useful for fun play and school type activities. It supports them with their homework.
