Comfortable, secure, and excellent quality”
Excellent quality. The bags are very comfortable and secure, the hook and loop closure is easy to use and does not open accidentally. The adhesion to the skin is strong but gentle, it doesn’t cause irritation and lasts for many hours without issues. They come well packaged and are discreet when wearing them. I’m very satisfied with this purchase, they truly give me confidence and peace of mind in my daily life. Highly recommended!

Colostomy Bags
Very nice and just as durable and comfortable as the more expensive Hollister brand. I love the tan fabric over top of the pouch so you are unable to visualize the waste

No blow outs
I like these 2nd to hollistet brand. I get these when I run low. Easy to use and with some adapt glue type stuff no blow outs or leaks. What more could you ask for?

Very good alternative to pricier brands
Just 6 weeks post-colostomy surgery, I'm still figuring out what works for me. I was sent home with Coloplast one-piece and that's what was ordered for me. I dont like the construction of the Coloplast 1-piece. I then tried a sample of Convatec 1-piece and really liked the opening, Velcro closure, and ability to tuck the end flap into a little pocket, which made this fit better inside my undergarments. (I'm now waiting for my Hollister samples.) Ok, so after 2 days wear of the Heagi Ostomy bag, I'm very impressed, and I really put it to the test. I put it on the morning of my chemo infusion, which meant I had quite a bit more output these first 2 days and a lot of emptying. The flap opening is easy to hold and clean. The Velcro has held up great with no leaks. The trick is to wipe inside a good 1-2" from the end, then fold and really snap that Velcro closure firmly from one end to the other of the strip. I also walked two miles in 95 degree temp, and it held up to the sweating. Then I took a shower without covering the pouch, I patted it dry then used a hair dryer on low to finish drying the fabric covering. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and flexible the adhesive is. No barrier leaking at all, and so far this has been very comfortable. I also played around with a little customization to make this more like my current favorite, Convatec. I carefully cut the outside fabric so I could tuck the end flap up into the picket I created with a simple horizontal cut. Bottom line, this is very good value and surprisingly competitive in quality. I initially purchased as a cheaper backup while I was trying samples from the big three companies. If I can get my insurance to cover an Amazon purchase, I just might ditch the big three and use these!

I have been buying these for a friend of mine for over a year and they are great

They allow a lot of stool to leak out.
The bags pull loose from your skin, this has happened to me twice so far. The velcro on the bottom of the bag does not hold together very well, has come apart multiple times.

Quality Control Issues! These USED TO BE GREAT BAGS!
THE GOOD: I started using these a few years ago & they WERE GREAT! The wafer seals well if you know what you're doing. Application is the KEY for a tight seal. (APPLICATION HINT: You should be clean, shaven & dry before placing these over a stoma. I start from the bottom & roll them up over the stoma. I also lie on my back for at least a half hour to an hour to let the adhesive cure on my skin. If I sit down immediately after application, sometimes the wafer folds away from my skin & I get leaks.) I USED TO CHANGE these bags every 3 or 4 days. My record on one of these bags is 8 days before a CHANGE. THE BAD: A few months ago I noticed they changed the box design & they NO LONGER INCLUDE a paper measuring guide or instructions. I ALSO NOTICED THE GLUE THAT HOLDS THE VELCRO TO THE BAG STARTS TO PULL AWAY AFTER A FEW DAYS! This is a DISASTER just waiting to happen! 2 days is MY LIMIT on these bags NOW because of the BAD GLUE on the VELCRO. And the MORE you open & close these bags to empty them the WORSE it gets. Once the velcro pulls away from the bag completely, they won't seal AT ALL! Then you're in trouble! THE UGLY: This is definitely a quality control issue & it seems like they are cutting back on the quality to make more profit. A typically BAD IDEA if people rely on your product. Then you start to lose customers! CLOSURE HINT: I hate the PLASTIC CLIP bags that this company provides as an alternative design. (They're uncomfortable & the clips come off too easily.) Someone in another review mentioned using small "BINDER CLIPS" to secure the bottom. This works extremely WELL to seal the velcro bags & prevent accidents. They sell them here on Amazon & they're cheap! If you have good insurance look for a better bag. If you pay for these yourself, it's a good alternative because they're affordable. Just be aware that they will only last a few days before they need to be changed. I HOPE THIS HELPS.

This item leaks very often and has a extra sticky glue which does not come off the skin easily.
