What battery should i use for this product

Response from Makita The battery’s which would be compatible with an DBO180 18v sander are, BL1830B BL1840B BL1850B BL1860B

Does anyone know where i can find an adapter to connect this to my vacuum?

we have various adaptors available, the outlet is 22mm so you will need depending on the size of the vacuum inlet one of the below or maybe both. Part number 192349-3 - 22mm up to 25mm Part number P-72936 - 25mm up to 32mm 33mm up to 38mm.

slightest of pressure and it stops rotating. Is this normal???

I can stop mine but have to push down quite hard. I’m using a 5 AH battery. I haven’t used mine a lot yet.

Does it throw dust all over the place like the corded one does.

Hello I also have a corded orbital sander and I find the dust problem from this Makita cordless tool only marginally better. That said, most of these sanders will only collect up to 30% of the dust produced - I would recommend the Makita product.
