Had my old dictionary many years, was looking really tatty, my new one is great has lots of other items, pronunciation, numbers, verbs, Spanish verbs and how to conjugate them, apart from just words to help you .

There are plenty of words and it's a good base if you are learning Spanish, but I should have taken more notice of that "multilingual" description. You do have to beware of the different verb and noun usages in European and South American Spanish. My Spanish teacher pointed out recently that a verb I used in an essay doesn't work in Spain. I will probably buy another dictionary for travel in Spain. As others have pointed out, the quality of the paper is quite poor - almost jotter quality - and I expected better for the price.

This is a present for my grandaughter, she loves the language so I thought it would be a great stocking filler @ christmas. She has been to Spain many times on holiday with family & also with school. It's great.

I originally got a Collins gem dictionary, but the print is very small. This is perfect, easy to use, and comprehensive . I particularly like the section at the back on Spanish verbs, which can be quite challenging at times. Excellent value,and perfect for my Duolingo Spanish lessons. It will fit into a small bag for that next Spanish holiday (whenever that will be !)
