Firstly these dumbbells are VERY well packaged - so don't worry about them not arriving in pristine condition. They're a very nice looking set of dumbbells and the quality is excellent. The handles and stands are real wood, however the chromed weights are covered with a plastic wood effect laminate - not real wood - but the appearance is quite realistic. They're accurately manufactured - I weighed the set and a complete dumbbell weighs 10.00kg. Each weight is exactly as stated and the handle with spinlocks is 1.50kg. The handle, for me, is slightly small in diameter and a bit slippy. Maybe because I'm used to a York knurled handle. My son prefers these wood handles so I can't complain. The only niggle is that the stands are different shades - one is light-brown and the other mid-brown. Glad they came bundled and I didn't pay full price. Overall a bit pricey but worth the cost.

These dumbbells come in a very sturdy strapped box with ample corner and edge protection against droppage. They look and feel great and don't rattle as they have 'o' rings in the spinlock collars. They're hard chromed and have lacquered handle grips which can be used with bare hands and don't cause blisters or callouses like knurled bars without gloves. The stands compliment them superbly and at the time of my purchase were free when following the instructions in the dumbbell listing. I think you enter the code provided at checkout rather than add the stands to basket but it was a few months ago; maybe you do both.

They are plastic wooden stickers, not wood veneered, and all of the stickers were pealing off. Terrible quality

Really lovely these look great, feel great and good value. Would definitely recommend. Don’t worry about the reviews that mention a wood finish on the weights. If it was real wood the largest weights wouldn’t weigh 2.5kg. Handles however are real wood 👍🏻 Also very well packed

Very nice looking dumbbells and generally still very happy with them a year later. The handles are real wood still look and feel great. The wood effect stickers on the side of the plates have not held up well at all though and have started to peel off in places which has made them look a bit naff.

Pesas de gran calidad, acabado muy cuidado, estéticamente agradables a la vista y bien rematados todos los detalles para que sean cómodas al utilizarlas, incluso sin necesitar guantes. Como defecto algo justas de peso, vendría bien que se le pudiera acoplar algún disco más.

They look great. They feel nice. They do what they are supposed to (i.e weigh 20kg). The only minor issue I have is how long it takes to change the different size weights. Lots of screwing/unscrewing

The overall product looks OK-ish. The wood is a thin layer that's glued to the iron plates. All and all acceptable for this price. What I did not find acceptable was the poor packaging. Everything was loosely placed in a box with no padding or protection whatsoever. The product therefore arrived heavily damaged as you can see in the pictures
