Betron ELR50 Wired Earphones with Mic and Volume Control, 3.5mm Jack, Gold

Due to my work I have unfortunately grown to be technically experienced and very picky when it comes to my audio. All I wanted was a cheap pair of ear plugs to keep the world out of my head whilst I do my daily commute (there is no way I am leaving the house with £400+ worth of gear with my usual pair) so I wasn't expecting much.They arrived in a very nice box with a clip, extra sizes of rubber bits, and a neat little pocket carry pouch. They look as though they were 4 times the price of what I paid for them, very pleased initially. 5/5.In terms of the sound, they are a little bassy compared to other pairs on the market, and the highs are a bit tinny. Anything below 100Hz and above 10KHz can be tweaked if you use an equalizer of some sort and that did make a huge difference. I have been told by people I speak to over VOIP and cellular that the microphone sucks, and I should get a better one :(. For the price however, 4/5. I don't think the folks who are complaining realise that anything else priced as well as these sound the same if not worse!I had to use the smaller size of rubber in-ear bits and they are quite comfortable. I am able to wear them for an hour or two without realising they're there. Only issue is that they create a vacuum in the ear canal that can be a bit uncomfortable when removing them and they do isolate you from outside sound. Besides that, no issues 4/5.They're strong, durable and look like they won't break as easily as other brands such as Philips and Senheiser. 5/5 for that!So overall in terms of value for money and overall quality these are probably the best pair you can buy in the £25 and under market. I am very happy and hope they last! I'll give these a 5.

Well I'm no audiophile, and my right ear has been crackly since Iraq so I'm not the defacto go to guy to comment on the audio quality of these, but I CAN say that they sound great. They have enough bass, and make the things I stream off my phone listen-to-able especially with the foam pads. So onto the quality, fantastic. They're sturdy and feel of a real quality built item. The wire will take some punishment, and they also look really good. The controls work really well, although the volume isn't the most responsive if I do it quickly on my Huawei, which may be more down to my phone than these.I bought these as my previous earphones suddenly stopped working in one ear. I wanted a cheap but not awful pair to listen to the radio and Deezer on the walk to work, and for the money I am convinced I could not do any better.I have only had these a short time , and should things change I will update my review, but so far, I am VERY impressed. If you're viewing this item then take it from me, you won't find a better pair in this price range or without spending £20 more.Oh also the foam pads are the most comfortable pair I've felt. I compared one to the rubber one in another ear, and I couldn't even feel the foam one in my ear. Yet another reason to buy these. What are you waiting for?I bought these at £11.99.I haven't been paid or encouraged to write this review, I just believe in praising good service and quality items.

The overall aesthetic of the headphones are great, with the cables being durable and their associated terminations look like they can take a decent tug or two. The quality of the leads is high and a touch more rigid than typical rubber leads at this price point, and they don't transmit ruffling from movement to the earpiece.Included ear tips are good selection of size and the foam isolating tips are the go-tos in my opinion and do a great job of blocking the outside environment.The only problem I've found is the sound quality, definitely engineered closer to the bass end with great deep notes and good volume for the unit. Treble can at times seem a little hollow at time with high ends being fragile to the point of non existent.I couldn't find anything better than these at this price point and will fit the bill more than adequately for the casual listener and commuter. I would certainly recommend to the average person not interested in super high detail in their music.

I don't know what it is, but these earphones make me come back again and again. I still have the other 2 pairs that I bought, so let me tell you why I'm on my 3rd.The first pair lasted me a while and the first thing that I really noticed was the cable was very sturdy and did not catch onto clothes' fabric like some other cheap(er) or even more premium brands. I used it for a good few months to a year before I dropped one of the earphones in water while I was doing the washing up. Not ideal, but I changed the earbuds with some of the spares the earphones came with and kept using them. After a while, I started noticing a poor quality in sound in the left one which was previously dropped in the water.That's when I decided to purchase my 2nd pair. The 2nd pair arrived and I was once again hooked to the deep bass and crisp sound. 2 weeks into my purchase and a freak accident happens: I used to keep my earphones on the passenger seat of my car and one time, after arriving at work I noticed something hanging out of the passenger door: the earphones were safe inside the car while the jack plug had been dragged on the road and nearly smooth on one side. A normal person would have rightly binned the 2nd pair, however I plugged it into my phone (bad idea) and they still worked. I continued to still use them for a while till they kept coming off and disconnecting from my phone and laptop.I finally decided to invest in my 3rd pair whilst still keeping the other 2 as souvenirs/reminders. This is a great pair of earphones and after years of looking for the perfect product, I think I might have finally found it.

These come in a box with a selection of different sized attachable silicone earplugs.I bought these earphones a year ago as a my previous ones stopped working, after a year of moderate use. Surprisingly, the second pair have lasted one year too. I have now ordered a 3rd set. The calls sound is clear and that is important. Mic output is also clear but noise cancelling is questionable. Music playback is slightly distorted on bass but mids are great. These come with a wire that tangles. Very first set of these had a wire that untangled fast but this is not an option for this colour anymore. I would recommend this earphone set. Obvious warning is that you should never sleep with them in, as wires can end up cutting circulation if they get wrapped anywhere or the silicon plugs could be a choking hazard.

As a mother with two teenage children, we have been through many sets of headphones. They either get left on the floor and stepped on, forgotten in their Jeans pocket and end up going in the washing machine, or left on the school bus etc. So for this reason, we never buy anything too expensive and therefore, do not expect anything too fancy.However, when I opened the packaging for these I was very pleasantly surprised.The headphones themselves appear very well made and the wire seems to be protected with a rubber coating. All the important parts are made of metal rather than plastic, including the brass jack. The earbuds feel really comfortable in the ear and there are TWO spare sets included!The wire is long which is great for people like me who like to put their phone away inside their jacket and run the wire out.Now the test was, how would they work with our devices? We are using them on an iPhone 7, iPhone 8plus and PlayStation controller (for gaming).(Obviously, we need to use an adapter to connect the headphones to our phones, but that is an Apple issue and not a problem at all.)Well, I am pleased to say all the music functions work perfectly. I can fast forward or rewind a song and skip to the next or previous song, no problem. and my son, who has tested the mic whilst gaming online, says it works perfectly.The sound is great and clear.So, they really are a fantastic product, great quality and at a brilliant price!Thank you!!

Really pleased with this product, it comes in high quality packaging with a magnetic clip which has a really nice feel as the magnet is not too strong or too weak. The earphones are very well presented along with the carry case which are both neatly packed inside the spongey foam packaging. They come with spear ear buds that are inside the case which are really useful and have a really nice feel inside the ear. The case also has a nice feel to it and a very nice clip which is fun to use and looks very modern. The earphones have a very high quality wire which goes great with the dark accents on the mic and volume buttons. The earphones themselves are a good size as they don't stick out of the ear too much and have a nice tight fit in the ear. They are discrete as they are not make to be very flashy, but they also look very nice as well if you do wish to show them off. They have a really good quality sound with amazing bass which I love about these earphones the most. However The volume rockers aren't as clicky as the pause/mute button which I think would be the only thing I would change about these earphones, but that is only a minor thing that I would change, other than that I wouldn't change anything about these and I think they are a great product. Overall I would recommend these as they are the best quality for money I have ever bought and I will definitely be buying some of these in the future for friends and family.

Ditched one star for initial problems with jack which seem to have gone away after first few days. Ok. The bigger problem is after a week or so I lost the call pickup button which is no good at all and as I can see other people complained about lost buttons as well. As for the rest I must say im very impressed. It's my 5th pair of betrons and second favourite after yms1000 and while yms1000 has superior sound and let me tell you incredible sound for £20, elr50 is a notch worse in every department. It's not as fantastically Musial but way way better than dull b25 or tinny dmz500 or xiomi piston 3, separation is very good but still yms1000 is just better in this regard. Soundstage is good and the sound is immersing but yms1000 still wins here it's just that fantastic. Fantastic if you listen at home or a stroll as running or cycling with yms1000 produces plenty of wind noise and unbearable microphonics. The fit of elr50 is very good. Much better than all mentioned above with the exception of yms1000. If you care about music don't mind extra £10 and you listen at home yms1000 is amazing. Forget about dmz500 unless you like tinny and very analytic sound. In £10 category imo elr50 blows piston3 and absolutely smashes b25 in every regard. B25 is only good if you only care about huge amount of jaba the hut base and don't care about anything else. You like muffled and boring sound take b25. Otherwise elr50 smashes b25 all day like there's no tomorrow. For £10 b25 is just so so. And elr50 is exceptional. And a lot of fun

I bought this for my fire. I like to watch videos on it but didn’t want to disturb my husband who watches TV in the living room sometimes. I had order another set of earphones previously on Amazon where the packaging was filthy. I did not bother even opening it up, threw it away. These Betron headphones arrived and the earphones and presentation Box is beautiful!! Also included was a little pouch with different size ear buds. The sound is great! This is something you could give as a gift to someone!!!

Opened these up last night, and was extremely impressed by the packaging for starters. Very durable box with magnetic clasps for side opening. Within were the ear buds, and a small pouch that could be used to store the accessories or carry the earbuds. The pouch contained a 3 different sets of flanges for different sizes of ear canals. The mediums that came installed felt a little big, so I swapped them to the small and they felt right for my ears. It was a slight struggle to get the small flanges on, as the ear bud post definitely required stretching the flange.... very snug. Also included in the pouch, but not pictured at all here on the product page was a small clip to allow fastening the cord to clothing. I was surprised an delighted to find that, as I basically wear my earbuds under my shirt to connect to my phone in my pocket all day long. This clip ensures that the buds don't slip back down and fall out of my shirt, etc. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to find a clear plastic cover on the 3.5mm connector. Another nice touch. I don't know that I will use that when I don't have the earbuds connected but it could definitely help protect the device when stored. The buds themselves feel sturdy and well designed. The Volume Control and Pause/Play button are solid too, and feel well put together.Audio was perfectly acceptable for my Audiobook use, and sporadic video watching. I'm not an audiophile, and don't listen to music, and don't require the top of the line gear for my use, so I really couldn't say if these might be better or worse than normal. I have found them fine so far. It was also nice to have a small enough ear bud that I could comfortably lay in bed with one ear on my pillow with the bud inserted. I did a quick mic audio check by doing a quick audio memo recording and the mic audio was perfectly acceptable too. I will use this mic with my phone on cell calls too for hands free talking, but I have not confirmed audio quality with another caller.TL:DR : Feels like luxury buds for the under $10 price.

Llevo usandolos 5 meses y estan intactos los uso mucho.PROS:1.-No se enredan como otros.2.-El cable esta recubierto, está reforzado.3.-El sonido esta SUPEER, tienen muuy buena calidad de audio.4.-Para usar como manos libres también muy buenos. Las personas que me han escuchado usandolos, me dicen que se oye bastante claro, se oye muy cerca, no se distorciona la comunicación.5.-Desde el empaquetado como se ve en las fotos, empiezas a percibir que son de calidad, todo muy bien cuidado.6.-Trae una bolsita que al tacto se siente suave como piel vegana, que sirve para guardar los audifonos o las gomitas que trae incluidas.CONS:No le he encontado un contra. Trababaja bien, hace bien su función y esta hecho de buen material.Seguiré usandolos y si en un futuro le encuentro un punto malo, actualizaré mi reseña.Pero por el momento, volvería a comprar esta marca o al menos este modelo que estoy probando y esta super, claro que compraré otros hasta para regalo muy buena opción!

Good cost effective product. Noise cancelling feature didn't meet my expectations when I used it to do a voice over but it worked during meetings so I am good.

I don't really see the hype. All of these reviews say these are the best earbuds ever but I think they are very average. I always use the Sony brand with extra bass and the clarity on those is extremely good but these are just ok sounding. I mostly bought these because I usually break or get a short after a few months with my regular earbuds (I use them every day for hours and hours) so we'll see how these hold up but again, I think the sound quality is just OK. Alright I wanted to edit my previous review because I believe it was an inaccurate rating. These are great actually. They are so sturdy, sound great with good amount of bass (you have to kinda position them right to get them to their full potential). They can make the audio much louder than other ones I've had. The reason I wasn't impressed at first was because of the buds that were on them but I changed them to the right size and ones that stick in your ears and stay there. I give them a 5 star rating and would absolutely buy these again.
