BUSH DAB/ FM STEREO RADIO IN A WOODEN CABINET

Love this radio. I can programme, for example; Classic FM to come on up to twice a day for up to 2 hours. (Which will be reassuring for my cat while she is sometimes home alone). My husband is happy as he can listen to the live cricket too. I love the fact that it tells you the song and the composer or band currently playing. With the option of batteries it can be taken anywhere. The reception is very very good. The quality of sound is excellent for certain types of music/ speech, as it's clear and crisp and not too tinny. If however you are after a bassier/ fuller range of sound for :) rock or poop then maybe it's not quite for you. I believe there is a 'Dynamic Range Control' (DRC) which I think can compress sound for particular stations to make louder sounds quieter and quieter sounds louder - flattening the sound levels (perhaps handy for talky shows or suppressing loud annoying adverts???) and I think you can expand these ranges too... depending on the audio signal. The manual is really clear and very helpful. I would recommend it. It looks pretty suave too. Delivered quickly also.

Fabulous Radio

After returning two other radio/cd players because of unsatisfactory frequency and base I gave up with the cd player and opted for just a radio. This little bush is super, the tone is probably not as good as a more expensive model but this is quite easy (for a lady of 80 years) to set up and no heavy background noise. Ideal for the kitchen, just what I was looking for.

There's a reason this product is so cheap - it's not very good. The instructions simply do not conform to what happens on the display (as well as being confusing). No one, neither friends nor young people, can programme the presets. And it's tinny, to the extent that at high volumes it rattles. The wood veneer looks cheap and nasty. A bitter disappointment. Added a few months later - now the connector plug has stopped working unless you continually move it, until you find a connnection. I'm thinking of throwing it out and heading to John Lewis to get a good old solid DAB, like my lovely Roberts. They cost a lot more, but there's a reason for that.

Lovely little radio. easy to carry around. Works on mains or battery. Has Bluetooth but have not used it. Very clear sound. Information is not clear form a distance as very small and not very bright. Don't know about battery life as only use it with mains.

Great quality and sound

This radio has served me extremely well. It tunes into many channels so I am never short of something to listen to. The sound quality is great. I can store a number of stations for quick and easy access. I also use it as my alarm clock and have it automatically go to sleep in the evening. It's very easy to use and sets itself up automatically. It's compact and light and takes batteries so I can bring it into the garden with me or move it around the house with me. I would highly recommend this radio - excellent value for money!

I bought this radio with a specific job in mind - so as to listen to Radio Lancashire of a morning and get the traffic news. I took it out of its boxand plugged it in. Scanning for stations I found Radio Lancashire and then.... And then nothing, or nothing listenable. Yes, I'm in a bad area for DAB reception and, although there are many other stations that work fine, the one I want isn't there. Even up against the kitchen window the signal simply isn't strong enough. So, four stars for what it does - it would have been five if it had an external aerial socket - but, if, like me, you have a specific need in mind, try borrowing one first to check your reception.
