I sanded my rough curb smooth but I didn't want to waste too much time since it's not something you notice unless you get inches from the wheel. This paint did a great job, this picture is when it was still fresh and not settled. After it dried, it looked a little bit better than this picture.

I use this on my Subaru rims that get eat up by curbs. It matches the gunmetal perfect.

The color is a close enough to match the alloy. The applicator is small enough not to cause a blob of paint when applying to alloy. Probably would be better if I sanded down the rough edges before applying. Overall satisfy with the purchase and would recommend it.

I bought this to cover a curb rash on my model y performance. I saw that a guy left a review before and he said it was a good match, it isn’t. The paint is much lighter then the original. Update: although not an exact match it’s pretty close so I’ll change my original 3/5 to 5/5 because the paint has held up well (2 years) and unless you look closely in full sunlight you cant tell the difference.

It says it works with tesla model y rims...not even close. It has heavy metallic flake. Its really bad paint as well.

Curbed my car a while back and thought this would work ok to touch up the factory rim. Ended up being a great match. I cleaned the area well, dried and applied. It works great.

Too dark

I did my best to sand down the rash but you could still see the grooves after applying the paint. It’s still 100 times better than looking at the bare metal of the rim.
