Great for left handed little people. Good quality.

These are our favourite colouring pencils for small hands! My children are 4&6 and this is the second set of these colouring pencils which we've had. They're really easy to hold, encourage correct pencil grip and the colour quality on the paper is exceptional. We will probably continue to buy these as they work so well! My only gripe is that the sharpener that comes with it is a bit naff, so invest in a decent sharpener for thick pencils.

I initially bought these for my daughter in Reception upon advice from her teacher. At the time she struggled with gripping her pencils properly and she struggled to bear down hard enough for her writing to be seen when using pencils. The notches on the pencil helped her with her grip. The lead is thick and hard enough, as well as excellent quality, for her writing and drawing to be seen. And the lead rarely breaks, not when she bear's down hard or even when dropped on our hard tiled floor. While more expensive that most other coloured pencils, they are very high quality and definitely worth the price. After regular use for over two and a half years, we are now buying our second set for her. I ended up buying right handed versions of these coloured pencils and regular pencils for my younger daughter when she started school last September. It is a great product.

These seem to last for ages and the grip features on the side were one of the reasons we purchased them.

On the advice of a primary teacher I purchased these colouring pencils for my grandson. The package was delivered on time as stated and was well-packed. The grip is really useful to strengthen the minor motor skills of infant school children. I would recommend. Communication on the seller’s part has been excellent.

My just turned 5 year old son has been fiercely resisting colouring, drawing, writing or anything really that resembles school, and as a consequence his school has referred him to an occupational therapist (ergotherapeut?) in an effort to boost his fine motor skills. I bought these in an effort to try to encourage him to at least try colouring!! I will still have to pretty much force him to sit down as he would much rather be doing something else,but we have had 2 successful colouring sessions so far.. His fine motor skills won't develop overnight, but because these pencils sit nicely in his hand he did feel more confident colouring and seemed to enjoy it- so much so that he actually said 'I didn't know that colouring could be so much fun!' Hopefully we will also have many more successful colouring sessions - but I don't want to push it either!! The colours are very nice and bold, and cover properly unlike some cheap pencils... They are chunkier than most, but sit well in a small hand.. They don't seem to break too easily. They are easy to sharpen and I realise I will have to monitor sharpening as my boy rather oversharpened one so it is now about an inch shorter than the others, not I think because it kept breaking but because he was just enjoying himself!! I gave the pencils 4 stars rather than 5 because they are quite expensive but I suppose if you compare them individually with artist's pencils they aren't so extortionate! I do recommend them, not just for children who are struggling with 'normal' pencils but all children really as I think it will be difficult to go back to 'normal' pencils after these..

My little one loves to colour, but she had been struggling to hold her pencil correctly with a tripod grip. These STABILO colouring pencils have been a great help in guiding her fingers into the right position and improving her control when colouring in. They make drawing, writing, and learning so much more comfortable and fun! I’d definitely recommend them for any child learning to hold their pencil properly.

I bought these for my 4 year old, he is left handed and teaching him how to hold a pencil and colour in wasn't easy. This was a worthwhile investment, he knows how to hold the pencil (after a short while he got it, thanks to the grip circles on the pencils!) they are of such good quality they'll last a while. I love how the pack opens for left handed people and it included a left handed sharpener. It's made life a lot easier and my son has improved in his colouring... All ready to start formal education! I was worried that he'd be held back by not being able to hold the pencil, these have made a huge difference!

Uitstekende potloden. Perfect om de penhandgreep in de kleuterklas mee te oefenen. Mijn drie kinderen (8, 5 en 3) zijn er dol op. In andere winkels zijn ze meestal prijziger.

Wir haben die STABILO EASYcolors für unser Schulkind gekauft und sind wirklich sehr zufrieden. Die Stifte liegen durch die ergonomische Form richtig gut in der Hand und helfen dabei, die Finger automatisch korrekt zu platzieren. Gerade am Anfang des Schreibens und Malens ist das eine große Unterstützung. Die Farben sind kräftig und lassen sich weich auftragen. Auch bei stärkerem Druck brechen die Minen nicht so schnell ab. Der mitgelieferte Spitzer funktioniert zuverlässig und passt perfekt zu den Stiften. Unser Kind malt seitdem viel entspannter und länger, ohne dass die Hand schnell ermüdet. Man merkt, dass hier wirklich mitgedacht wurde. Für Rechtshänder eine tolle Wahl und aus unserer Sicht absolut empfehlenswert.

My 6 year-old "lefty" grand-daughter loves these pencils. So easy for her to grip. All the STABILO pencils and pens are excellent quality. We have been using these products since realizing she was left-handed around the age of three. They make it so much easier for her to practice her writing skills.
