Did the job perfectly
Bought two of these in an attempt to stop the smell from the main sewer wafting through the house from time to time from the kitchen and downstairs bathroom outlets. They were easy to fit and I checked the water was flowing before refitting the drain cover. The doors automatically open when the water pressure builds up behind them. It’s been a few days now and I can honestly say there have been no odours whatsoever. Wish I’d bought some of these ages ago.

Good quality item that does the job
Simple and easy to fit in the soil pipe just by replacing the existing rubber seal with this item. Can be used vertically or horizontally, no tools needed.

Easy instal and it works . Hopefully no sewer rats anymore.

Stop the smell from drain gully
Placed this inside the 4" wasted gully pipe which took the waste water from the kitchen sink, washing machine,& dishwasher. it put a stop to the smells that kept coming out of that drain! Was easy to fit & a lot cheaper than digging up the drive to replace the gully. Use silcone grease inserting valve easier, i also smeared silicone grease around the metal string & hinge to keep it operating smoothly.

watch the size
seemed to fit ok but then we discovered that it either sticks shut or sticks open because the hinge moulding is slightly proud of a 110mm pipe fitting. Had to grind the edges from the moulding to make it fit

Al momento sembra troppo bello per essere vero.
Preso per disperazione causa continui riflussi di acque nere. Installato dal pozzetto d'ispezione. Facilissimo da inserire (e questo mi ha stupito) per misure standard. Per sicurezza ho siliconato tutto attorno ma sembrava stabile anche senza. Posizionato in orizzontale, funziona perfettamente. Monitorerò comunque nelle prossime settimane.

J’ai utilisé ce clapet pour éviter des mauvaises odeurs dans la douche. Résultat concluant. Seul bémol, les dimensions du clapet ne correspondent pas aux dimensions sur le site. 110 mm au lieu de 120 mm. Donc il a fallu que je bricole une bague.
