Lékué - Steam Case, Without Tray, silicone Red, 1-2 people, 650 ml

I would recommend this item to everyone. I do not have microwave at home, but there is one in my office, and I decide to buy this item as I do like to cook my food every day. With this steamer pouch I avoid cooking at home and re-heating at work. In 10 minutes I get incredible dishes, it is very good for fish and some meats such turkey and chicken. A few tips: Steaming vegetables will give you very good results, but there are vegetables which I find brilliant such broccoli, green beans, carrot, courgette or cauliflower. I only add a little of olive oil, salt and black pepper. Fish: I use white fish, with a slice of lemon on the top, salt and black pepper. Or buy from the supermarket chunks of salmon with sweet chilli or salmon sauce. Salmon skewers are brilliant too. Meat. I prepare bags that I freeze. Chicken + onion + dates + raisins + courgettes an cumin, and you will have a great Moroccan chicken style. (If you have a kettle, you can get a perfect cous cous as a side with it.) The recipe book will give you very good ideas. I have added some pictures of dishes cooked in my lunch break, all of them took less than 15 min.

I bought it to steam vegetables for my baby's food. It is so easy to use and convenient, I cook most of my meals with it and it is on duty every day. Vegetables taste much better than boiled and it steams fish nicely, too. Super easy to clean, washes well in the dishwasher and much better than having to deal with pots and pans and conventional steamers.

Cooks vegetables very well and easy to lift in and out of microwave, even when hot.

It's definitely worth it, if you are a person with no much time to cook, but you even enjoy eating vegetables, it's a perfect gadget to don't waste your time. In my case I'm student and I have used it to do almost everything. And apart from eggs, because they grow a lot inside of it, you could do everything.

Currently going through a phase of cooking fish en papillote for supper. I have always managed OK with baking paper but sometimes it can be a bit fiddly when checking whether things are done, and sometimes the liquid spills out when serving. So thought I would give these ago. Absolutely fantastic result last night used in the oven - salmon and vegetables perfectly cooked and wonderfully aromatic. I used 2, 1 for me and 1 for my wife, as that meant I could vary the contents according to our preferred tastes, especially chilli! Simple design wonderfully executed.

This case is amazingly simple and has meant we eat far more fish in our household now. I bought it purely for fish, and it cooks fish to perfection. I tried both the 650 and 1400 size, and chose this one as it comfortably holds 2 medium fillets of most fish. There is still room in it to add a few vegetables, so a perfect size for two. I add a bit of oil and pinch of salt and pepper, pop in the oven on 190C for about 15 minutes and fish is beautifully cooked. The best bit is that it stops any smells filling the house! Washes easily, nothing sticks to it. I packed it along recently for a holiday as we were self catering near a fresh fish port, and it made for easy dinners when we weren't eating out!

Great product - this is the second one I've purchased. Unfortunately the box was ripped and damaged. This wouldn't have been a problem if it was just for our own use, but a bit disappointing as it was bought to be wrapped as a Christmas gift.

Over the years I have purchase various items for microwave and while the work....they end up NOT being worth the space or effort. This is amazing, whether for veggies or for fish, the two items I use it for most often. It cleans easily. ALERT: this verion has no rack and when doing fish and veggies together, I prefer the version with the rack (I have two). Literally, I put two portions for frozen salmon from Costco in the case with a squeeze of lemon or lime and just a little (teaspoon?) liquid and about 2-2.5 minutes later, perfectly cooked salmon. Really. LOVE IT.

Me gusta mucho. La utilizo principalmente para pescados, se cocinan muy rápido y quedan con muy buen sabor y sin manchar nada ni producir mal olor.

Parfait dans le délai de livraison et plus-que-parfait dans la cuisson. Ne peux que recommander bien que 10 minutes pour cuire me semble juste juste. A voir à l'usage.

Ich bin begeistert.Bisher habe ich immer Bratschläuche genommen zum Dampfgaren und habe nach einem Adäquaten Ersatz gesucht,ziemlich lange.Ich muss sagen,das ich erstaunt bin das dieses Teil tatsächlich funktioniert.Der einzigste Nachteil ist das die Angabe bis zu 2 Portionen zumindest für das was ich esse übertrieben sind.Ich Dampfgare mir gerne z.B. einen Babyblumenkohl mit einem Babybrokkoli und einer Möhre.Leider passt nur eins von denen rein auch klein gemacht.Da muss ich leider sagen das noch nicht mal eine Portion rein passt.Aber es passen 4 Gemüsemaultaschen oder 4 mittelgrosse Kartoffeln rein.Aber das ist alles für mich eine Portion.Trotzdem bin ich damit sehr zufrieden,weil es funktioniert.Im Backofen habe ich es bisher noch nicht ausprobiert.Aber ich freue mich das dieses Dampfgargerät auch Backofengeeignet ist.Ich habe es noch zu halben Preis erhalten.Da passte das Preis Leistungsverhältnis für mich sehr gut.Es funktioniert,aber wer größerer Lebensmittel Dampfgaren möchte oder für mehr als eine Portion sollte sich das größere kaufen.Man kann es gut im gefalteten Zustand aus der Mikrowelle nehmen ohne sich die Hände zu verbrennen.Trotz der Laberigkeit des Silikons ist es im geschlossenen Zustand recht stabil.Eine gute Möglichkeit vom Dauermüll der Bratschläuche zu entkommen.
