Parrot CK3100 Hands-Free Car Kit

I was a bit unsure on whether I should buy this and fit my self or pay a company to do it for me. I decided to go with the option of fitting my self, I am glad I did. Instructions are very easily to follow and it is just a case of plug and play. All the wires hide away inside the dash board and when I had finished it looked like a professional job.The parrot its self is very good, there are so many to chose from as the Parrot range is large. I decided to go with this one which is one of the cheapest. Its a great piece of kit, does what it says on the tin.

I use one of these at work so i decided to buy one for my own car.item arrived on time and came with full instructions. Tip; go on the website and get the correct wiring instructions for your car. I got a seperate wiring kit (from Amazon). i was a little daunted by the instalation but it was easy, the biggest issue was getting the radio out and removing various bits inside the car but after a search on the web I found the instructions how to get access under the dash of my Toyota.i supose i am a competent DIY sort but my biggest concern was the instaletion of the wiring, the basic kit that comes with the CK3100 is confusing but when you have the specialist wiring (purchased seprately) it makes things a lot clearer and with the support from the site i found it very easyNow fully installed and works like a dream with my motorola and the wifes Nokia. i would recomend this piece of kit, easy to install, easy to use.

Very good device. I've tried various hands free devices over the years but this is the best yet. This is supplied with the cabling required for vehicle radios with ISO connectors at the back, I've fitted it in a Fiat Doblo Cargo van (2013 model) No further cables required. Unfotunately mine was supplied with instructions on how to use it in Spanish, but I managed to find the English version online. Has the ablilty to dial from voice commands which is very useful as only one button push is required to initiate this. Paired with my phone instantly and synchronised contacts similarly, so it was up and running in minutes. Fitting it can be fiddly, the Doblo doesn't have a 12v ignition source within the ISO connectors so one had to be found from the Hazard light illumination supply and this involves taking the fascia out and locating the right cable in the loom. That said, the other bits tuck behind the dashboard and it's a neat fit when finished.

if you intend to purchase a handsfree kit then this is the job!yes i thought it was expensive when i first got it (as a gift i should add)i makes travelling long distances so much more bearable and SAFER of courseyou can programme in the voice controls so that you just need to say the name of the person you need and it will dial for you - wonderful technology!i love it and would definitely recommend it to anyone!one point though if you aren't too handy with car electrics i would definitely leave the installation to the professionals - my auto spark only charged me £30 to install and it was well worth paying - its tidy and there are no nasty wires lurking around!

These are great products. Fitted it to our Citroen C1 in about 40 minutes. No extra wire looms needed.Only had two issues with the Parrot.(1) the instructions were in Spanish, but it's not like that would read them any way. I checked out changing a radio on YouTube and the rest is straight forward. The supplied wire looms simply provide all the connections between the stereo, the ck3100 and the car.(2) There were no screws supplied to secure the bracket to the dashboard and the double sided sticky foam pads would not hold it. Not a biggie as I had some suitable screws in my box.Another issue was that the supplier seemed to have a delivery problem but they contacted me very promptly and sent another out. Received it after about a week from order.

First kit had a faulty display, second kit had a faulty microphone; I replaced this at mu own expense as I was fed up of returning faulty items, moral of the tale don't follow the manufactures instructions and fit all the cables first; test it out first. Fitting was pretty straight forward, you may need an ISO-SOT cable. I bought this for my wife's Fabia, in this case I had to wire in a switched +12v, I also had to swap over the two fuses, you will know if this is necessary if you don't get the goodbye message when you switch off the ignition. The instructions were in Spanish so you will need to got to the Parrot website to get the English instructions. The Parrot website is not brilliant.

This is my 2nd Parrot, the first is in my car and this one was for the van. Easy to fit, did it myself in 2.5 hours. Phone paired right away. This seller is top quality too. Item arrived the day after dispatch and the price is the best I can find anywhere. Why spend 25 quid on a ear peice when you can have a wired system for not that much more really

I have tried various kits in different vehicles over the years and the Parrot range always delivers.The CK3100 is, in my opinion the best in the range. It delivers all you could want without the distracting bells and whistles of some of the higher spec models. Simple to use on the road with one of the best voice recognition systems I have ever used. What more can I say except buy it today.
