As expected
Fine for wild camping as it's not too bulky for rucksack

Does the job
Does the job but 3 nights in and the foil has delaminated in lots of spots. The elastic ties are a bonus and great idea but again they ripped from the mounting areas. I have fixed with a hole punch for now but I can see it happening again soon. Saying all that, it’s done exactly what I wanted it to do. Been down to -3 with this tiny thin mat and a good bag and not felt too chilly. Ideal to carry for a floor or seat if nothing else. I’ll be cutting it into sections for seats when it fails completely

Light weight solution to ground heat loss
Been using this now for several years, pretty good at keeping the cold of the ground away from you. Not as comfy as an air filled mat or air bed but sufficient for most conditions, do make sure you choose a location relatively flat and without any stones or hard bumps though as you will feel them.Purpose:During camping a major source of heat loss is from the ground, as such a mat provides insulation between the camper and the ground, the addition of a foil improves the performance of a standard foam mat.Pros:CheapLightCompact (I wrap mine around the tent)Cons:Easily damagedNot as comfy as an air filled mattress
