This dog guard is really solid and does exactly what you need. Easy enough to fit and adjusts well to suit different car sizes. Keeps the dog safely in the boot without any movement forward. Fits my vauxhall grandland fine and seems sturdy enough. It's very fiddly to fit though with vague instructions, I fitted it on my own but I'd say really you need two people to fit it as an extra pair of hands to support it during fitting would really help.

I read a lot of questions (with a lot of unhelpful answers) but chose to purchase anyway. I have a Ford Focus Zetec S which was new in 2012. If fits fine to the point where my 4 month old Cocker Spaniel will not be able to jump over to the back seat any more. If I crash and the Dog comes through the guard... then I'm driving at a speed where I shouldn't have a dog in the boot in the first place! For those that asked the question will it fit my BMW xxx and got an answer "I don't know I have a Fiat 500 and it fits mine" (for example!) I can tell you that I fitted this in 15 mins from start to finish, by myself (just in case someone thinks that it's a 2 man (*Persons* lol) job, and it fits a Ford Focus Zetex S just fine. See images. It was a bit fiddly to get the screws in to the hooks but boo hoo I persevered. It was ordered and arrived the next day, I have prime. Packaging look like someone had opened it but the product was sealed. Very Happy with the purchase!

Good product but part missing but we managed to fit it

This item was not fit for purpose, it is not a Universal fit as it didn't fit our Suzuki Ignis. The side extensions wouldn't go in the car but without them there were spaces for our dog to wiggle through. The instructions were useless and we needed a rubber mallet to get some of the fittings to fit. Finally the headrest supports didn't stop the mesh flopping about even when done up to their fullest extent. At the end of a long struggle we gave up and returned the item.

I have this in my Evoque (2015) and the fit isn't perfect but does the job and the pooch now stays in the boot on car journeys. It's very sturdy and that is what made it difficult to assemble and fit so it's not a complaint but I think people may struggle to fit this if they have any sort of weakness or disability as it is a very sturdy item. Overall I would recommend this to other dog owners.

Verpackung war ordentlich und es ging schnell und einfach zu montieren. Leider passt die Rundung nicht ganz zu unserem Auto, so dass es an den Seiten nicht ganz abschließt. Es sitzt aber fest und die Hunde können nicht durch. Rundum ein gutes Produkt.

Ottimo acquisto per chi ha un cane che non sta fermo nel bagagliaio. E' facilissimo da montare e smontare, lo tengo sempre nel porta bagagli nel caso mi dovesse servire e non occupa troppo spazio, non è stabilissimo ma per un cane abbastanza piccolo tiene senza alcun problema anche se il cane è molto agitato. Inizialmente ho fatto fatica a farlo stare dietro perché provava a morderla però gia dopo un paio di volte ci si è abituato e non fa più problemi. Davvero ottimo, controllare bene la compatibilità con l'auto nonostante sia regolabile in larghezza e in altezza

It is fairly easy to mount, tho the instructions are a bit ambiguous. It seems to hold onto the seats pretty good and if you were to push from the trunk to the front against it you'd need to break the seats - so very durable! It doesn't fit 100% in my car (Golf 5, 2004, 1k) so that there's a 10-13cm gap on the top but my big doggo would fit in there at all so it is okay. I'd recommend this one if you didn't know what to buy. It is relatively cheap compared to others on the internet but it seems to hold up! Check if it meets the requirements for lawfully transporting your dog though - it does in Germany :)

Nel complesso un buon articolo, nella mia Fiesta non arriva perfettamente al tettuccio (rimangono circa 5cm al centro) ma fa il suo lavoro poiché anche il cane più piccolo non riesce a passare per saltare sui sedili. Il materiale è solido, facilissimo da montare (sulla Fiesta non serve nessun pezzo in più per attaccarlo ai poggiatesta) l'unica pecca è che se avessi un cane grande e si aggrappasse alla rete come fa il mio probabilmente si sposterebbe se non peggio...ma posso solo supporlo!

Hat super gepasst im Mitsubishi lancia kombi also die Kopfstütze musste ich verkehrt reinstecken damit von hinten eine gerade Seite absteht und somit der hundegitter eine stabile senkrechte Position hat. Links und rechts ist eine kleine Öffnung die ich nicht abdecken konnte aber das liegt an der Form vom Auto. Bei 3 großen Hunden aber kein Problem. Das die hunde nicht nach vorne springen ist aber nicht möglich. Ich bin top zufrieden und schneide eventuell es so zurecht das keine Lücke übrig bleibt.
