Genuine strong pedal spanner.
Good quality pedal spanner which does the job perfectly being from the Park tool range, Good length to loosen and tighten the pedal with ease. Got this cheaper due to amazon deal and highly recommend this tool if your wanting a good reliable spanner for your bike.

Good quality & does the job
As I have found with all Park Tool products, the quality is first rate. Park Tool products may not always be the cheapest, but they last and therefore are excellent value. The design provides good leverage and is comfortable to use (something you notice if you have struggled to remove a pedal previously with a lesser spanner/wrench) - I'm very happy now I can remove the pedal that was previously immovable, having been in place on my old mountain bike for many years. I'd happily recommend this (and other Park Tool products) if you're planning to do any bike maintenance - I only wish I had discovered them before buying tools from others that are not a good, but that I cannot justify replacing...

You get what you pay for!
While this is quite an expensive wrench, I had also paid £30 for a new set of pedals and if it had damaged my crank, it would have cost much, much more so I looked at this as an investment. It also arrived promptly (as usual when ordering from Amazon SarL). On the good side, it is thin (so should fit most pedals, my friend tried to use a spanner from a standard tool set and found it was too thick to fit between the pedal and the crank), it is very well made (it will take quite a bit of misuse to damage this wrench head!)and most importantly, it has a long handle which means you can get the leverage lacking in some of the shorter & cheaper pedal wrenches. It might not be an industrial standard for use in a bike shop but for the occasional user, it's £10 well spent.

No complaints so far.
Finally bought a pedal wrench after years of cycling and it enables me to switch between platform pedals and toe clips and straps. It has a matt black hammerite type finish and a blue vinyl dipped handle. The only thing I noticed after first use was removal of the paint in the jaws of the wrench but the metal was undamaged. As mentioned, it is quite a thin spanner but perfectly adequate for the amateur mechanic, if not the professional. It was long enough to undo my pedals, just remember to grease your threads if you want to get them off in the future! This will also prevent any clicking from the pedals. I just did them up to what seemed like a sensible amount.

Very effective
A simple tool, but proper tool makes great difference. Comfortable and very effective.

Solid wrench
My wrench arrived clearly used - with grease smeared across it and opened packaging. Hey, why not just use the thing once and return it to Amazon after you've solved your problem? Nonetheless I kept it because that's more of a reflection of late stage capitalism than Park, who have made a well designed tool that deserves a place in your workshop.

Good quality sturdy feeling
Got this because was sick of trying to get the pedals off and on my bike ! Used cheaper spanner before and often pedals get stuck jammed on through use (despite using grease on them when initially attaching) / the spanner I was using leaves me with sore hands and struggle get pedals off . 15m common bike nut size usually fits pedals and for my fixed gear bike also fits the wheels . This certainly gives you extra bit leverage to shift stubborn nuts - sturdy feeling item which works well

Con el del Deca no pude sacar unos.pedales que estaban "soldados" a la biela de una bici de segunda.mano. Con esta , no os engañaré, costó, pero salieron. Siempre con palanca, no golpes.

I took a regular crescent wrench to upgrade my pedals, and while it fit, there just wasn't enough clearance for me to confidently use it without scratching up my crank. So I decided to make a small investment in a proper pedal wrench. There are so many different options in this price range, and I thought about saving a few bucks, but know that Park Tools seems to be reasonably trusted among enthusiasts. I probably would have spent a little more for the PW-3 or PW-4, but Amazon had this ready for next-day delivery, so the decision was made. This made removing my old pedals a breeze. I had clearance all day long, and the wrench didn't flex or dent, even though I needed to use a fair amount of force to get the old pedals off. Of course, I didn't forget to go with Polylube 1000 when putting my new pedals on. For the headache and heartache this saved me, it was well worth the price.
