L'Oréal Colorista Paint Mulberry Violet Permanent Hair Dye

I've always gone with this product but usually midnight blue but I fancied a change so went with midnight purple 💜 and wow the colour has really took hold, I thought I need to do it a few times to achieve the colour I wanted but no. I love this because it slightly thicker in consistency which I like. A * from me and I'll be sticking with this colour 💜

Love this. The colour is so vibrant. After 5/6 washes it hasn't faded. Simple to use, and smells nice which is a bonus. I went for a full head as I wanted to change my colour completely, I have collar bone length hair and the bottle managed to cover it all generously. The instructions are easy to follow so if you were wanting to do balayage or highlights you'll be able to do so with no issues. Will be using again when I decide I need a new colour!

It went on great, no smells or drips but my previously lilac (bleached blonde then coloured with a temp lilac colour) hair went a dark burgundy. It is a nice colour but not as on the box. My hair did feel soft and silky afterwards.

I couldn’t be more impressed with this actually. My hair was an absolute mess. It was more or less platinum and then a mobile hairdresser did my roots so badly they were yellow even after she put a toner on. Then on top of that I had my dark blonde/ brown roots coming through. I wasn’t expecting much from this product but it lifted my dark roots just enough, and they are completed blended through from root to tip so there are no visible lines and it has a nice ash/beige colour getting slightly lighter to the ends. A really nice shade and conditioner has helped with my dry ends. This will be my go to from now on.

Not working

After trying many hair colour products, I found L’Oreal Colorista to be the best product that suits my hair type. Being an asian and suffering from premature graying of my hair, I was compelled to colouring my hair from a young age. The best hair colour product I found was by Vidal Sassoon but unfortunately they have now stopped producing them. I have used many hair colouring products over the years and none of them lasted long as L’Oreal Colorista. Although the packaging directs you to use all the contents therein, as I have short hair I can use it twice (bonus win!). I’m very happy with this product and will be buying L’Oreal Colorista again.

A really great colour even if you have already dyed dark hair which I do. Will definitely purchase it again.
