Very nice cover and using the spray with brush spreads it ...
Very nice cover and using the spray with brush spreads it evenly and quickly. If you have small bits of timber to treat and you want to get it deeper into the wood then Get a plastic bag (like a black rubbish bag or a bigger much bigger if you have one} Get a vacuum cleaner, Spray the timber and put it in the plastic bag. Put the nozzle of the cleaner in the opening of the bag and use your hand to seal the bag. Switch on the cleaner and suck the air out. This will cause a low pressure in the bag and the wet spray will be drawn in to the wood giving you a deeper penetration. For safety cover the nozzle with a fine cloth like a washing up cloth. This will stop ant droplets of spray getting in to the vacuum cleaner.

Dark colour treatment that is thick enough to jam the wrong sprayer.
I don't know how it sprays! I managed to ruin a sprayer using this stuff, hence 4 stars. I discovered that my sprayer was only good for really runny watery stuff, this treatment is thicker than gloss paint. So I ended up putting it on by hand, with a brush that is. I covered 7 6'x6' fence panels both sides, so a total of 14 sides, with 2.5 of the 5L plastic containers, so 12.5L was used in total for 14 6'x6' sides. That was putting it on quite thickly by brush, on quite coarsely finished timber. On a better surface less would have been used. The paint colour was quite dark, which is what we wanted. We are not legally allowed to use our favourite covering of that farmers favourite; creosote and used engine oil which gives a glorious black colour and quite cheaply. Them were the days .. We wait to see how this environmentally friendly covering actually works. It is water based so brushes and bits can just be put under a tap, although I am not sure how the water board view that! An incidental thing, it is impossible without drilling a set of holes in the bottom to get the last cup of paint out of the container because of their indented shape. And this stuff is not cheap, I don't know what a cup is worth, LOL, I am not a cheapskate honest! But this stuff did perform our first requirement of putting some protection and colour into a new set of panels, we wait to see how it stops rot ...

Top Quality
Excellent quality once worked out how to use the Cuprinol spray takes much less time than brushing and the paint is as good as using a brush Yes it does take more paint but well worth it ordered more and would use again
