Team Associated SC28 General Tire RTR ASC20162 Cars Elec RTR 1/36 Off-Road

Car is fast for its size. Kids love it. Associated Electronics has GREAT customer service if anything breaks. The wheel broke off the remote one one of the other cars and they sent me a replacement piece and a youtube video on how to make the repair.

This little 1/28 scale truck offers a lot of fun in a package a little bigger than a bar of soap. The truck is very quick, almost a little too quick. Having no throttle trim, the truck requires a lighter touch. On smoother floors, it may spin out and fishtail, making it a little harder to control. The run time was longer than expected. Charging time was about a half hour. I have played with it quite a bit. Almost exclusively indoors. The truck appears to be fairly durable for its size and weight. My terrier loves chasing it and biting at it and has given it a little abuse. Being a small car, it does pick up lint and hair off the floor in the driveshaft. However, it’s pretty easy to clean out with a fine tool. Bottom line is this car is a lot of fun. Probably not the best for a beginner or younger drivers. Being so quick and light it may be better served as a practice tool for novice and advanced drivers.

Granddaughter loves it

It's neat...but there are better performing options. The serpent mini spyder is a very similar chassis. It's slightly longer than the sc28, has a removable [but proprietary] battery that uses a type-C charger, and has a gyro. It seems to drive better than the sc28 as well, but I haven't tested them head-to-head. There is also a plug for lights, on the mini spyder, and one labeled "wifi" that I know nothing about. Unfortunately, I've only seen one style of mini spyder available, so if looks are more important then you can just go...buy the one you're looking at right now. The sc28 is still fun, it's just kinda lacking mostly everywhere. If one of these companies were to make these hobby grade, I don't think I'd be the only one excited about it. Just look at wltoys 1/28 shtuff.

These are super cute and easy to handle, but if it gets under anything the damage is done.

Great for kids and durable for pets to run around with it. A little overpriced but team associated makes quality products.
