If you know Taylor of Old Bond Street, and their reputation, you will already know the quality of this product. This is not some run of the mill brand appearring on Amazon. This is pure old school, quality and perfection in a stick. A great scent for any one that wants to smell amazing, and not sweet and floral like a lot of the modern scents, the Sandalwood notes really stand out, and last the day.

Totally fantastic smells amazing and fresh .. if you look for some mens items look no further than Taylor of old bond street ..

I've just bought a second one of these because the first one I bought was just running out, and I really liked it. I avoid the commercial deodorants and antiperspirants because of the rubbish they put in them, and the potential health risks they pose. For years now I've been using natural deodorants like Pit Rok and Clear Crystal etc. but find that, although they help in terms of deodorising, they lacked having some decent fragrance themselves. I still use a rock crystal and put that on after wetting it first, and then follow that with the Taylors sandlewood stick, which not only smells great, but lasts throughout the day, even after exercising (1 hour high paced walking) during my lunchtimes. Of course, with it not being an antiperspirant, don't expect it to keep you dry... it won't, but that's not a bad thing... you perspire for a reason when you're exercising or working hard; at least your sweat won't smell bad. As with any deodorant (and I've looked at many different ones) there will always be some people who find it irritates their skin. That's either due to the alcohol (as in this product) or bicarb of soda, often used in other natural deodorant products. Fortunately I'm not one of the people who reacts to those ingredients so I'm lucky. I guess if you don't know, then try them and see, it can be worth it. The price can be a little steep on these, but I'd rather pay a little extra for something natural than pay a cheap price for something that is, essentially, made in a laboratory with potentially unknown health risks.

I have been using the stick deodorant for a couple of weeks, and up to this point in time have been pleased with its performance. I had purchased this product to replace a Boss solid deodorant that had lasted an incredible six months, and yes l did use it every day 🙂. The two products feel different to each other, and l would probably be happier with the ease at which the latest purchase is applied. It remains to be seen if it still offers the same value for money, but it smells great, and comes in a bit cheaper than the Boss alternative. I certainly am happy with my purchase at the moment.

Some deodorants, especially natural ones, are awful. By 10 am you find yourself smelling like a French onion salesman who bathes in onion soup twice a day. And I haven't had onions for about 3 months 🤷🏻‍♂️. No so with this. It smells good, keeps me puts dry and I even had the pasties daughter say that I smelt nice on Sunday, so that was a nice change. I like the smell and it's dependable. Good product. Endorsed by me and validated pastor's daughter's. Lol

So this is excellent. Smells like oud, scent lasts most of the day, price is fair. This is a good product.

Classic smell for MEN!

Everything about this product is high quality, professionally put together and worth the money. Some men may find the fragrance too feminine and floral. The product descriptions on Amazon, TOOBS, and elsewhere do describe the scent accurately, but "resting on a base of rich oud and dry amber" isn't present. There are some amber notes way back behind overwhelming rose, possibly geranium and a whisper of Oil of Olay. The product is called Oud, so one expects ancient Middle Eastern sandalwood, the haunting waft of a troubadour's wooden instrument. I was in fact looking for a sandalwood variant with a little more mystery: this shakes up my olfactory kit nicely but with a new rose idea - again very glad I made the purchase and paid the $58 after all charges. But it should really be repackaged as Rose of Serbian Granny's Closet and not Wise Man of Morocco's Pipe. It's a fresh summer fragrance and not a meditative winter mood. In future, I will contact the manufacturer before making this kind of subtle purchase, and will certainly further TOOBS exploration.
