What can I say?
It's a broom handle. It's is strong and wooden. The surface is smooth so no splinters. It is easy to use as it is a broom handle and for the price it is worth it.

The item is precisely as expected - a smooth handle, no defects, perfectly straight (no warping). The wood is not particularly dense so quickly picked up little dinks and dents. It comes untreated so I recommend treating it with furniture wax or similar otherwise it will stain very quickly.

2 inches short.
It is not 48 inches as advertised but 46. It's the number between 45 and 47 on your tape measure guys ok. Apart from that it is indeed round and if I'm not mistaken I'm fairly confident that it is make from wood so I suppose you could call it a broom handle, which would be ideal if you were an umpa lumpa working in the chocolate factory. But then I suppose their brooms and handles would be made from chocolate, so wouldn't be much use to them either. Oh and it doesn't fit the brass fitting that AMAZON recommended it for. So off I goes to my local and friendly timber merchant, who with accurate tape measure finds me a sturdy piece of dowel that is a whopping 50 inches in length, not 48 or even 52 but smack on exactly 50 inches. And yep it fits snugly into the brass fitment and only charges me a few pence into the bargain. Now I have to come up with an idea of what to do with this toothpick that I have been left with! ..... I know, I shall lubricate the blunt end and pay a visit to the Amazon recommendations Department because, I have just had a brilliant idea!!!
