Can you apply a gloss varnish on top of it ,after fine sanding it.

I'm not an expert but would say yes I don't see why not it does have a nice shine just as it is but if you wanted to give it a more robust finish then varnish wouldn't hurt .

Can i use a chalk paint to stencil over this? How long till stain is dry enough to stencil over? Thanks

Hi The paint is dry within the hour. Should be OK to stencil over.

I want mahogany. Where’s the link please?

Can i use this on solid wood Kitchen worktops

You can, but make sure to remove any existing lacquer or wax first. I used this on a coffee table by sanding down the surface thoroughly first, applied a coat, light sand again, then applied the final coat. Used carnauba wax to finish for a nice buffed shine.
