ASUS VP228HE, 21.5 InchFHD (1920x1080) Gaming monitor, 1ms, HDMI, D-Sub , Low Blue Light, Flicker Free, TUV certified

So I bought this monitor for my gaming setup and I wasn't too sure what to expect. I've had some bad experiences in the past so I was hoping that I hadn't wasted my money. So a few days later the monitor arrived, earlier then what I expected the box that the monitor came in was very well wrapped and well protected it took me about 5 minutes if that to set it up and I was very pleased the picture was very clear the speaker was louder then what I expected as I read some reviews some comments said that it wasn't that loud but that wasn't the case, All in all, I gave this product a 5 out of 5 stars and would recommend to anyone wanting a budget monitor Pros Clear picture Decent speakers very good for consoles and computers Price compared to some monitors Cons Non!

Pros: • This monitor is ideal if you know you're going to be moving around a lot, it's box and packaging make it super easy to disassemble and move transport. I have been carrying around for the past 3-4 years and it still is one of my favourite screens I've ever had. • The speakers for monitor speakers are just amazing, you can tell they have not just been slapped on. There was thought that went into making them sound good and create a good soundscape • Lasts a long time (still in use as the secondary monitor) Cons: • Controls aren't amazing - not labelled and slightly unintuitive (took me two years to work out there's a volume control) • Not adjustable except for screen tilt up and down. • Side viewing means that the colours disappear so is only really meant for one person to look at. • Not 144Hz (although I have a 144Hz monitor and don't see what all the fuss is about) Altogether great monitor!

I use this monitor as my second monitor and it really is perfect to be honest. It is a decent size as my desk and room are quite small, but yet still with a 21inch monitor and 24inch monitor they both still fit. I have also got it attached to a desk mount and using the monitor on a desk mount has not impacted it what so ever. The picture quality is good, the response time is exactly as advertised. I would definitely recommend purchasing it if you are thinking about it. The only fault I have with the monitor is that it was quite bright when I first used it, however after easily tweaking with a few settings it is not perfect.

Was my first ever monitor and the picture image (colours) were so vibrant and soothing to look at. Performance wise not so much however this is a must cop for someone who watches a lot of media such as YouTube, Netflix and more…

For it's price it's a good screen. This was bought as 2nd screen and does that job perfect. As a primary screen it's viewing angles to the sides are ok but a bit narrow on the vertical. Colour and contrast are a little washed BUT I'm sitting here with a 28" 4K Samsung right next to it which is a bit unfair. Just bare in mind it's sub £100 budget. Don't expect to much from it. For average household/small office use it'll do the job just fine. For gamers, just be aware that if you play a lot of games with dark or low light scenes you'll struggle with the contrast.

This is really good for the price. I bought for use in my home office but with a secondary function of gaming. Specifically, playing SNES mini, Neo Geo Arcade stick pro etc as they all output HDMI. The picture is really good out of the box and even better with a few small changes. Also, not sure what other reviewers are talking about but this DOES have speakers. They aren’t fantastic but for gaming they’re fine. The menu is also not difficult to navigate; you just need to spend a few moments cycling through. It comes (in the UK) with both a three pin UK plug, a two pin EU plug, speaker cable and a VGA cable. If you want to plug into something that inputs a picture and sound you will need an HDMI cable!

I'm not a gamer, but my 12 year old is, and a very picky one he is too. Apparently, this screen is perfect for use with his Xbox One S and he really likes it - or rather, he hasn't complained about it once so it really must be great. Not much else to say other than that - the picture quality is great, the build quality is great too (as we'd expect from Asus), and it has a study base so isn't likely to fall over. The latter is particularly important in our house given that the 12 year old gamer also has ASD and is prone to wriggle a lot so he has already killed one screen, less than a week after it was bought, by catching the desk with his knee mid-wriggle and catapulting it onto the floor. We have had this Asus screen since Christmas and it hasn't fallen over once :)

I'll be honest. The ease of use and the settings. Pretty bad. I fiddled with the settings to start, only to realise I had made it worse. It took a solid hour and a half to sort out. Take my advice, don't touch the settings at the start and only do so if you actually know what you are doing. Even now I get tearing, normally its when panning the screen in games like Yakuza 0, but for Red Dead Redemption 2, it works pretty well. Get it if it's on sale. It works well as the lowest priced gaming monitor.

Hala kullanmaktayım, oldukça ekonomik.

Für einen Quarantäne-Zweit-Rechner, auf dem potentiell ausspionierende Software und Kommunikation stattfindet, habe ich einen preiswerten Monitor mit FullHD gesucht und im VP228HE gefunden. Mein Gerät war fehlerfrei, kein toter Pixel, und hat sich problemlos in Betrieb nehmen lassen, jedoch mit einiger Konfigurationsarbeit. Ja, die Helligkeits- und Kontrast-Einstellung des Panels ab Werk braucht wohl eher niemand so. Nachdem ich die Einstellungen für meinen Einsatzzweck angepasst habe, ist die Farbdarstellung für solch ein TN Panel aber sehr gut. Der Test als Gaming Monitor war ebenfalls erfreulich, die Ansprechzeiten sind gut, nur der Treiber im Computer musste erst einmal nachkonfiguriert werden, weil scheinbar nicht alle Eigenschaften des Monitors über EDID richtig erkannt wurden. Die Lautsprecher wurden ebenfalls vom Computer nicht als Stereo erkannt und auch hier musste die Erkennung noch "von Hand" angeworfen werden. Es sind kleine und preiswerte Lautsprecher, die sicher keinen HiFi-Standard erfüllen, aber für meinen Zweck völlig ausreichend sind, sogar im Daddeltest mit einem Retro-Arcadespiel viel Spaß gemacht haben. Fazit: Ein guter Monitor mit Basisausstattung in vernünftiger Qualität, der zwar ein bisschen Handarbeit bei den Einstellungen benötigt, aber ansonsten unbeschränkt zu empfehlen ist.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per il mio pc da gaming per giocare in FULL HD. Pienamente soddisfatto, buona resa dei colori,tempo di risposta di 1ms veramente basso, immagini di ottima qualità,molto utili i vari livelli di impostazione del filtro luce blu in modo da garantire un utilizzo poco stancante pure di notte. Qualcuno si lamentava dei neri non profondissimi, è vero che il nero se si ci fa caso tende un po' sul grigio, ma non è nulla di drammatico, garantisco che la qualità delle immagini e dei colori è ottima,perfetto per il gaming, ma anche per vedere film e serie tv. Soddisfatto in tutti i sensi, acquisto consigliato!
