We used this melt and pour goat’s milk soap base earlier today and it was great. It melted smoothly, was easy to work with, and set nicely without any issues. The finished soap feels lovely and looks really good, which is always reassuring when you’re trying something like this. It didn’t have any odd smell and took colour and fragrance well, making the whole process straightforward and enjoyable. If you’re making soap at home and want something easy to use with good results, this is a solid choice and we’d happily use it again.

This is coming from a person with extremely sensitive skin (with a child who has inherited my sensitivity) and allergic to almost everything. Yes I am that person who stands in a shop for a good few minutes or so reading ingredients of a product I might buy, incase it has something I or my son will react to in. This. Soap. Is. Amazing. I mixed a small amount in with a spoon full of honey and a couple of drops of chamomile and rose oil. It melted quite quickly and the oils and honey mixed in without an issue. After a bathe my skin was left feeling silky smooth and well nourished, its been a long time since Ive used a natural soap, usually because they cost too much, although this is a fair price for how much you get, but wow, my skin actually felt hydrated and refreshed. Now my son had a juice rash up his stomach from learning to drink from a cup before the bath, it was very red and seemed to be bothering him. After bathing the rash had reduced alot, his skin was left feeling silky soft, and my son in himself seemed perkier and happier than he usually does after baths (weve had many issues with reactions to soaps). So to sum It up. Totally recommended. Easy make, easy mix and dashing results, couldnt fault it. Picture was one of my small test batches containing honey, essential oils and ground up hemp seeds and they came out really good.

Good moisturising soap. I have used several different melt and pour bases from Stephenson range. I have been pleased with all of them. This time I decided to try the goats milk one. I purchased this for my 5yr old granddaughter to make Christmas gifts, she absolutely loved making the soaps using silicone moulds. Obviously I did the melting part using a jug in the microwave, my granddaughter then chose to mix some organic lavender flowers into the mixture before she poured it into her chosen moulds. We had to return it to the microwave a couple of times as it does soon begin to set, however we did not consider this to be an issue especially considering the joy and satisfaction she got from making her gifts.

I've completely changed my opinion of this melt and pour crystal soap base. I purchased it as a more budget option to replace my pricier goat's milk soap. It's great value for money as I have made several soap bars (I made a few mistakes along the way!) at a fraction of the cost of buying individual bars. It lathers reasonably well ( I don't find it to be a highly foaming soap) and I love the fact that it doesn't leave residue in my basin as it is a glycerine based product. I have sensitive dry skin and am not allergic to this soap. A couple of negatives are that there is a fairly long ingredients list to this soap base and it is definitely not as moisturising as my favourite goat's milk soap if made with nothing added. However you can add your favourite oils to the soap base and I found that sweet almond or olive oil plus my favourite blended essential oils have made a lovely product. I have experimented with skin safe water soluble colour which worked well and am thinking of trying other mica based colours too. It's so easy to use that my 11 year old kid and I made some soaps together. I have just purchased the aloe vera organic crystal soap base from the same brand as it has a lot fewer ingredients and am looking forward to making a lot more soaps.

I’ve bought this base at least 3 times already and considering it’s for personal use, I think that says something! I will buy again and again and again. Hubby has a really sensitive and delicate skin and used to use a specific Dove sensitive bar, but after they changed the formulation a few years ago, we were looking for something else, and we stumbled across this. I couldn’t ask for more honestly. The lather is amazing - just don’t go heavy on oils or other stuff as it may reduce the lather. It happened in a previous batch. My fave recipe is to add some Scottish rolled oats (some ground and some whole), a bit of honey, a tiny bit of either cocoa butter or coconut oil and a few drops of scent….. et voilà! Absolutely lovely on the skin, like I said plenty of lather and melts very well with no issues! Definitely recommend. Just hope they keep the price around the £10 mark.

Love this, I do admit mine smelt a little funky, turned out nice once it was solidified, with everything else I put in it, I have found one I want to buy next time, for certain reasons, iv done mine with with orange essential oil and butters, other essential oils iv done a lot of research into for my skin type, made my skin silky smooth, best soap iv had! That I have made. Iv made loads of different creams, soaps and suncreams that makes me never want to buy anything from the supermarket. Iv got rid of my daughters eczema with my products, If you have time and money look into making all your own products it’s so worth it.

I wanted to make some soaps as small gifts for colleagues this Christmas, but I got caught out time-wise and wasn't able to make them all from scratch. I found this soap base and thought that it would be perfectly fine to use that, and then just add some fragrance or something. One box ended up making me a tonne of soaps! Six of the usual soap bar size, four about half that size, and then roughly 20 small fish-shaped ones and 20 small heart-shaped ones. I used silicon ice cube trays and then one tray intended for soap making (the soap bar type with a tree on it). I added a few spoons of shea butter to the mix. For some of them I also added a small spoon of coconut oil. The only fragrance I used was some mint oil in the big bars and the little fish. I didn't use any dyes as I quite like the neutral white of this soap base. For the small bars and the hearts I didn't use any fragrance, but just sprinkled a bit of dried lavender in the molds before pouring - I think they came out well. I made the soaps in the evening and the next morning they were ready to go, so this was a really quick way of getting 20+ small presents ready in no time! Ideal if you want to make something yourself but don't have all the time in the world!

L'ho regalato a mia nipote che adora realizzare saponette e che di recente ha partecipato anche ad un corso in cui veniva insegnato come realizzare delle saponette con la cenere. Sentendo i suoi racconti, con l'aiuto di mia moglie che mi ha consigliato, le abbiamo regalato questo prodotto. Il rusultato è stato che mia nipote è rimasta piacevolmente colpita dall'efficacia del prodotto definendolo un buon prodotto e di semplice utilizzo. Ci è stato riferito che dal panetto si ottengono saponette molto idratanti e profumate, che lei arricchisce grazie all'aggiunta di essenze, fiori secchi e colori alimentari. Il panetto si scioglie Facile da sciogliere facilmente e solidifica in poco tempo. La pentolina in cui inserisce il sapone non è a contatto diretto con la fiamma, mia nipote utilizza una piastra radiante sotto al pentolino che le permette di controllare il calore in modo da non alterare la conposizione del sapone. Il prodotto odora di latte. Immagino che a breve, mia moglie ed io, proveremo l'efficacia di questo prodotto: si avvicina la Pasqua e mia nipote sta realizzando saponette per ogni invitato che presenzierà al pranzo. Consegna puntuale.

Really good quality, it sets at a decent speed (not too fast). Have your additives ready and your mold on a flat surface and your good.
